I still don't understand why Avacta haven't started Cohort 5 unless they have and haven't announced it? Or there is a big change in the trial setup that is taking time to sign off... They announced cohort 4 completed on January 17th.

It's not being valued on COS.
Its being valued by investors on how long it will take to get some solid news that proves efficacy.
SD was fantastic but it left questions about when phase 1a will close. Has the latest dose escalation started? When will phase 1b start? Does the extended time line eat into funding?
Hard I know for Avacta to give answers on this and patience is needed but imo this is the reason for the sell off.
If there is a sniff of these questions being answered then the share price will appreciate.

That's a great summary.
I forget who the gentleman was but in the q and a of Chris twelves he intimated the way avacta were running phase 1 was a great way of minimising failure in phase 2 and that most trials don't run this way and often fail in the later stages.
