I am at a loss why most posters think this is a rotten deal.HUR put itself up for sale and this is the best deal on offer.Wishful thinking cant improve the deal.The only alternative is stand alone and I am convinced that this deal is better

What would that achieve ? In any case I am sure those bids are confidential.If any feel their bid would be better received by shareholders they can always make it public themselves.But none have.

Yes Acealpha but the very same things that could reduce the DCU payments are the very risks which HUR shareholders would face if there was no deal at all.Either way we have to undertake the risk of the well failing or the oil price reducing

No I dont think CA are throwing in the towel.They are being realistic.No better offer is available.The risks of HUR carrying on alone are substantial and 12.5p over 3 years is attractive ,if it materialises.And CA obviously think we will achieve that with Prax being able to develop assets which HUR cannot.I am happy to wait and may even add to my 1.8m shares

Yes the tax credits can only be utilised by Hurricane plc

It is quite obvious that bid or bids are under consideration,otherwise they would have to inform us .No bid under 7.7p would be even discussed so it's all gain from here

Yes they can.RNS can be issued at any time if significant news becomes available

If you get 3.1p pay out soon it just means you will get 3.1p less in future from whatever outcome happens.It is not anything extra!!
