When will the masks be available to buy?

Gareth says the new masks are due to go into production in Nottingham in late November and he hopes for them to be commercially available from December.

They will initially be available for healthcare, transport and food service settings.

Gareth says he was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago. He has a check up on the 9th December and hopes to be able to take a box of the masks with him to say thank you to staff.

P2F is continuing to receive enquiries from prospective distributors and purchasers for its viricidal mask and now anticipates that future demand for its mask may outstrip the production line capacity of five million viricidal face masks per month.



To fulfil part of the anticipated excess demand, P2F expects to supply its patented filter material, initially, to certain partner mask manufacturers, until P2F has itself procured additional production lines.

As Gareth Cave has an appointment on 9th December at the hospital and will be taking a box of masks to hospital staff, we will be in production prior to that date for him to have the physical product

As previously announced on 18 September 2020, P2F has purchased an automated mask production line, which is on track to be delivered in November 2020 and to be commissioned by the end of December 2020. The production line, which is manufactured in Europe, has the capacity to produce up to five million standard or anti-viral face masks per month.

Following this positive test result, P2F plans to produce anti-COVID-19 surgical face masks certified to ISO 18184 for sale by the end of this year.
