Yes an excellent announcement by the BOD…..reads a bit like a “speeding ticket” but in reverse :)

“As announced in the 7 July Trading update H1 revenues dramatically increased to £3.27m (H1 2020: £12,700) driven by COVID-19 testing services. This trend has continued into Q3 with monthly testing volumes exceeding those seen in the final two months of H1. Further information on Q3 trading will be provided in the results statement scheduled for Wednesday 29 September 2021.”

Very happy with my top ups this week and will enjoy this weekend but also looking forward to Monday when hopefully the market will react positively to this announcement and confident we will get some good results in the trading update and timeline on rollout of new tests on 29th September.

Hi All - been a great week this week :)

I have just put a few reasons to be cheerful down for my own benefit and thought it would be good to remind everyone why we are invested here.

1. Revenue growth +498% as at December '20 - >£3m revenue generated in just 2 months, May-Jun 21(pre height of summer season) - current MCAP 31M
2. On Approved GOV.UK suppliers list for Covid 19 testing for travel. As per RNS 24.08.21 over 82 providers on GOV.UK approved list of private COVID-19 testing companies at risk of removal which means less competition for MHC who welcomes the DHSC press release.
2. Deal with Boots - huge revenue potential due to highly respected Boots brand with online and high street access
3. Full UKAS accreditation ISO 15189:2012 - as yet unannounced via RNS
4. Now selling in Lloyds Pharmacy - huge brand with over 1400 pharmacies around UK - as yet unannounced via RNS
5. Pipeline of new testing products due to launch ? early 2022
6. Acquisition of Nell Health (RNS 28.06.21) moving into healthcare tech space with valuable database platform - launching under MHC brand 2022

IMHO testing for travel seems to be here to stay for a while yet and can see new test product launch being delayed whilst massive revenue continues to flow from the travel testing regulations.

Looking forward to the next RNS (hopefully imminently) with news of the UKAS accreditation and Lloyds Pharmacy deal.

We have a lovely long bank holiday weekend coming up and hope everyone enjoys the break and gets ready for another good week next week (hopefully with an RNS to start us off on Tuesday at 7am).

With full UKAS accreditation and the Lloyds Pharmacy surprise bonus (fit-to-fly test on Lloyds Pharmacy website approx. £5 cheaper than Boots site), expecting a monster RNS.

Also wondering what else has been going on behind the scenes that we are not aware of I.e. deals with airlines etc. ……..and who knows what else!

Hi All - with the weather the way it has been for the last couple of weeks I am not sure the Great British staycation is all its cracked up to be. Paying a fortune for overpriced coastal properties, hotels, caravan parks, and not quite the summer weather hoped for, can see a lot of last minute bookings for families as the extra cost of the tests are balanced by the extortionate price rises being charged for holidaying in the UK.

I am looking forward to the next update and hoping for a timeline on new test product launch.

Hi Sparta - in reply to your question I can only tell you that I top up my sterling account with open pay via MODE app (bank account registered at time of original joining/downloading app) and buy BTC as and when I feel ‘the urge’ :) lol. All very easy to do 24/7 . Whether that is the best way or not I can’t tell you but you also have the option of topping up a euro wallet instead and buying BTC with that. Hope that answer helps.

I received an email today from MODE asking me to update to iOS 14 as they “are eagerly getting ready to release updates, they will only be available if you are using the latest operating system, which is iOS 14” - it also mentions they will no longer be compatible with versions below iOS 14 towards the end of the year.

They are definitely dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s and it should not be too long now until launch of the “Super App”

Hi Flowergarden - I think the expected final year results for Dec 2020 are partly already priced in as they are expected to be low but with a forward looking market and with the excellent Q1 2021 trading update we just need this out of the way and glad I am in before the report has landed. Also with a £44M MCAP and an illiquid stock, >20% of which is locked in until March 2023 and the recent placing @55p raising £6M for the company, not to mention Open Banking on its way - risk/reward feels good and happy to wait GL

Until we get some firm facts and figures the SP may stay depressed but with the app moving up the Google Play list, news of increase of trading 316% VS Q4 2020 and new customers increased 200% the revenue for the company can only go up, eg. when BTC dropped from $57k to $48k there was a surge in trading of 62% as per Company RNS 13.04.21 - my feelings are that I am here for the long term and believe I have got in early as the potential is very positive - when firm figures are released then it will be harder to get in IMO

The BTC volatility and wild swings are perfect for this company as this encourages trading buying/selling with which Mode make money both ways - if the price was static or in a small range there is less trading and hence less revenue for Mode. Looking forward to the next few weeks to see if the market finally catches up with this point. GLA :)
