I am personally very happy with that RNS.

The timing will also avoid the hyper competitive pre-Christmas rush where return on advertising spend is poor for new entrants.

I think they explain this very well with solid reasoning behind it. Also now revenue generating.

A well timed trading update/forecast RNS would set the SP alight - feel we are still slightly under the radar and still a good opportunity to buy in/top up before the market catches up.

So with news that we have yet another variant of concern and travel restrictions being reversed from LFT to PCR tests for travellers, I can’t think of a better share to be in right now. Expecting the next set of results to be even better than the last……if that’s possible!

Mode are moving up the download charts so all this exposure is getting people interested and downloading the app - also due a research note next week (possibly tomorrow).

All the bad press trying to discredit the company is just distracting and blurring the real concept and progress made so far. Just a quick reminder of what has been achieved just since October

* joined CryptoUK ensuring regulation and best practice

* went live with 30+ THG brands months ahead of schedule

* partnership with LK Bennett

* partnership with PayEscape to launch pilot of UK’s first Bitcoin payroll product - McDonalds is one of their customers among many others

* Mode launched 0% trading fees until 31.12.21 as a strategic move to attract new customers

* partnership with Anthony Pompliano the influential Bitcoin investor and podcast that has reached over 30 million downloads since launch

* recent press has resulted in Mode moving up the download charts

Mode are disrupters and moving at a pace and there will be plenty of fear and misinformation to try to slow down the massive changes in how we pay for goods/services but cardless payments are the next step in payment evolution IMO

I personally believe we are in at the beginning of what will be a huge shift globally away from traditional methods of payments including cash and cards, towards payment technology driven towards QR payments via phone apps. be that in FIAT or BTC and Mode are at the forefront of this.

There is always risk involved where the markets are concerned so always important to DYOR but for me this is a confident hold.

@JBongo - I only checked the LFT and now after checking the PCR filter, it is the same so I agree that it may be just confusing wording.

Not sure why Penny said we were not entering the LFT market or why this hasn’t been RNS’d (or has it and I missed this?). Can see a much longer term Covid testing revenue here and possibly why no date has been set for the release of new portfolio of tests due to the fact we will be soooooo busy with the LFT’s.

Apologies if I am missing something here but on reading through this BB it seemed like some thought we wouldn’t get a share of the new C-19 LFT travel testing market.

@vinnie2919 IMO the market is only seeing this as a Covid 19 travel testing company and with changes to travel rules being made from PCR to lateral flow testing and no real information regarding pipeline of new test product launch or expected revenue for these it is difficult to value company on future product revenues. Hopefully next weeks update will help clarify some of these issues and thus help stabilise SP.

With the cash in the bank and the Nell Health acquisition, I hope to hear next week that it will be used for ongoing investment/PR re pipeline of new test rollout including a timeline as well as an update on expected revenue by end H2.

Cj62 - Kos, how lovely, have a safe journey back tomorrow and yes fingers crossed for a stocking RNS - I am off to Ibiza today for a week and hoping the WIFI at the hotel will be sufficient to keep an eye on what is going on, also hope my other half will be happy with me staring at my IPad or Phone relentlessly during this coming week…..hmmmmmm plan is to ply him with lots of alcohol hahaha
