Robbrens, Thinking is not always wishful, but it's forecast with the vaccines availability.
January to April is long time, we get many priority groups by mid February and then don't expect everyone else will want to get it as there are many millions already had Covid and they are not interested for the vaccines.
Then there will be opportunities to go to pharmacy and get it by privately too similar to the flu jab. There are about 11000 pharmacies in England, and manufacturers are increasing their productivity too...
13mil buy mid feb, another 30mil buy April is not harder... so total 45mil isn't bad by end if April you think?
Everyone will start change about Covid once death rate reduced to the seasonal flu level...
Time will tell you...

Robbrens, No point arguing with you as I am not taking todays covid spread into the summer but looking at after the 3 months time and forward as many wanted poeple will have it by then.

Also have look at the last summer once opened after June, worse of the pandemic around April, May and June in Europe but you saw the UK/EUROPE beaches filled up even without no single words about vaccines.
Now we have vaccines and I believe anyone could get vaccines by April/May in Europe.

That's exactly I am thinking too Damian. It's gonna be huge demand for this summer.
Many non holiday travels also will kick in from March/April. E.g. lot of business and sports.
I have 3 trips to Denmark, Sweden and Italy before July.

Not sure this will stay this low until end of Jan or beginning of Feb, as everyone know the lockdown release dates and vaccinations status, so remember the market used to position for the known factors well ahead.

Profit taking time by day traders...

IAG performance is very slow given the market today, expect late rise...IMO.

It's overall not a bad day and hoping a few blue days ahead towards 160p.
Anyway, can see the big rise coming in on from March as vaccination with this lockdown gives clear picture as last chapter
of the pandemic restrictions and then start travells by many more than ever.
I am very relaxed and easy wait with my holdings now.

Bladey, Just read some of last night post and 100% agree on your sentence;
"The whole aim of this lockdown is to allow the vaccination to be distributed as quick as possible by NHS and other health services without having to deal with a spreading of the original or new variant."
We needed this lock down to have better future IMO, sacrifices now for the future and faster recovery, I always feels that December restrictions were not enough, and allowed to spread more...

I bought yesterday and feels really good investment.
It's going to be big mistake if someone is waiting for 120p/130p mark, or even 145p by end of the week, if interested to invest. as we are in a worse now IMO.
I don't think any bad news to come here, just the delay of opening up travel routes to another 4-5 weeks, and then not going back.
