I sold 2/3 of my holding at 163.05p, I was thinking to reach 165p but it's gone the momentum I think from the entire market.

GB46, Your concern is reasonably I think, but
I am not planning for the Autumn or next year but my current goal is for until summer.
All depend on the success of the vaccines and the lifting of the lockdown, I want to see very slow step by step with regular reviews, I hope that governments have now enough experience to follow that process.
I am expecting rise in March, April, and May first upto 200p minimum then June and July depend on how global vaccination success and stabilisation. If all worked then 230p+ by July otherwise this can stays around 200p.
Other than above, rises will quicker if they worked out international vaccine passport.

GB46, I am not talking about getting back into pre pandemic level, we don't need to get that level to get reasonable profit. What is your prediction by July?

Dagger, Regarding the CEY, I think very little chance to rise in short term for the Gold and Gold related stocks as they are not the recovery stock as went high during the pandemic and those can be more down with the pandemic recovery. Don't blame me if I am wrong but just the my understand.
IAG will give profit in both short term and long term, so if I have CEY shares holding now then I would sell them next day regardless of loss or profit and buy IAG and recover the money, it's doesn't matter which shares you loss and which shares you get profit, it's your money.
Travel sector has lost more than many share s within last two months and during the pandemic, so they will be bounce back nicely, so we will be in profit.
Short term 160p+ in few days or week time and long term 200p+ in few months time...

Agree with Mike here. BOJO delayed hotel quarantine much as possible he can, he had to put it because of noise from some own MP's like PP and opposition, SA variant now not much treat, even infections and death rate in SA is under control than anywhere else, pfizer vaccine is also covering the many variants including SA and Kent variants, so I don't think any 4th lockdown comes, so Boris will hint some of below on 22nd Feb;

- Remove the hotel quarantine for many countries from March
- Apply the international vaccine passport country by country where USA and Singapore are already in talks with UK is planning to start from March/April
- Remove the quarantine completely with the time over 50 had vaccines from April/May but Covid test can be mandatory before and after
- Business travel will be normal from May but Covid test can be still mandatory before and after travel
- Holidays can star from June with 75% Asia, Europe etc...

Don't expect history repeat every day

I topped few small shares at 145p too. it was a good day for holders without panic and well done who bought in the morning too.
I expect steady rise next week crossing 160p probably up to 170p as all good news now on the way and enjoy the weekend until!

TP, You wrote today which I was thinking before log into here to read what's going on as I was busy working with customer whole day, unbelievable, we are sharing some of common sense. great statements and very honest.
As you said, there is no harm or different to the share holders that todays swing as it is same value as yesterday.

I think this is the last 5-6 days that anyone want to make a decision to book a journey or not, it's very hard to join once ride started as then we are thinking too high or wait for a drop, but once BOJO announce the plan for lifting restrictions and then it's different situation everywhere as many will have the vaccines and no turning point and look at the inspections going down in the UK, USA, Europe and many other countries, small one bump on 26th depend on how the big guys are taking the results.

All I am doing is stabilising my position with small advantages with the cycles without taking major risk(I am not capable of taking full profit from the cycles, as that is different skill which you have) for a medium term as I want to stay until summer comes what ever the jokers saying no holidays, it's my believe that we are going to have reasonable holidays this time.

Travel sector and banking sector has big gap now, so I think those should fill within next 3-4 weeks.
Both LLOYDS and Natwest are now same high when IAG were above 175p, so it's about 15% behind now, the current price is well worth to buy and hold.
