NorthS…..agreed, 2022 could be huge for the airlines.

I don’t think it’ll take much for that to be the case NorthS, given where this industry has been over the last 18 months and given the fact that we’ve seen glimmers of a strong recovery here even despite the hardships, it’s not difficult to see the 10’s in time. Holding, and buying when you can, will be rewarded in due course imo.

It’s going to be very interesting how things play out over the next month or so leading up to the peak ski season period and then rapidly into Easter and Summer. I’ve got relatives living near Chatel in the French Alps and they are saying that there is no way those resorts will not be fully open for business this year and I think the same sentiment will carry into the European/Med summer resorts next year.
So in my mind it comes down to the travel industry lobbying the gov to stick to a plan, whatever that may be, and let the confidence return to the travelling public that you can travel again without the need to worry about rules changing etc…

Fundamentals haven’t changed here as has been outlined in the previous posts by others that have been in this a good while. What’s happening with the SP now really doesn’t matter, in fact all the miners are well down off ATHs right now. For me, I will keep buying at these prices when I can as it’s basically right on my average now so is a no brainer. For those with high averages there are options, you either sit and wait or average down, but for goodness sakes don’t sell at a loss, you’ll kick yourself later (imo), Good luck to the genuine ones.

PantherPat, are you looking at all the airlines to get a view of the space as a whole? They all quite understandably took huge losses through the last year or so, it’s done.
What I’m interested in is how the Companies have reacted to the new landscape and future proofed themselves to a degree. Easy have consolidated bases, renegotiated Pilot contracts, have liquidity to the tune 4.4bn and have decent forward bookings to date (up on S19). Looking forward, what’s not to like?

…and where are the “other miners” now? How has ARB/ARBK stacked up against the others recently? I’m looking at bitf, riot, mara, hut, hive and thinking that’s not “mooning”, it’s quite the opposite, day after day right now.

It’s not often you can say being down 7% is a good day on ‘Daq but when you look at Farms, Mara, Riot, Hut all getting a hammering, we look good in comparison.

Yeah you are right, the other miners have taken a pounding of late, we seem to hold up reasonably well right now.

I think restricted travel will only apply to the unvaccinated moving forward (I.e. what Spain is doing now). The reaction to this latest variant is much more measured within the industry and I think despite the best efforts of the press to try to turn it into months of free headlines for them, people are happy to travel.

Airlines on the up and up so far today, great to see.

Who’s “Uber ramping” as you put it?
Is Uber ramping someone who is positive about their investment? Is that a bad thing? I ain’t seeing any zengahs here.
