that’s the thing on AIM, right: as long as a company is not making any money (e.g. exploration phase) then said company is at the mercy of the inevitable placings to keep the lights on. Until they start making serious money. Big if, because most never get to that stage.
In that case, you rarely have institutional investors who invest with a 3-5 year window in mind, but you have pi’s who are mostly driven by sentiment. Traders then exploit any potential weaknesses of a share and we are left hanging dry.
Seen it time and time again. learned the hard way.
So for me, potential of great (which is why I follow this share), but proper foundations are a must (which is when I will buy in).
Otherwise AIM is just a casino, and it’s usually the house that wins.
