I am neutral on PQE: it has potential for sure, but then again most shares on AIM have potential... anyway if PqE becomes a hit, sweet, but prefer to discount PQE for the time being. Far more interesting to see if the next series of RNSs will deliver the same steady progress as the last 2.

it’s exploration: they will drill a whole and see how much oil flows out. You can over intellectualise if it pleases you, but really not a lot to do other than wait and see. Hopefully we will see a bit more meat on the bone at the AGM re the SWP. If not, I am afraid too many will lose faith on Lk

Also, Lk has never said that he intended to fully develop the SWP. His plan, as I understand, is more to prove the reserves and, subject to commercial potential of said assets, he will look to sell it off. Not too silly, if you consider that the big O&G companies will be far better placed to develop the field. The CEO and CFO have both stated in the last that the major O&G companies are not so much interested in the current oils production of a field but far more in its proven reserves. Still significant capex required to prove the reserves, but obviously far less vs full blown field development. I believe Lk is looking to exit when he has proven the potential of the field. If not big enough for a major, the field will hopefully be big enough for us. Even on the low side of the estimations, a small well will be transformative for CERP.

No one is waiting for Q2, will probably = Q1. People will be waiting for the Agm. Might get better insights from that one

if have the impression that we are going to receive monthly operational updates for as long as relevant of course. I assume quarterly updates as well giving more insight into financials of the company and more forward looking operational plans, i.e. for the following 3-6 months.

we want continued solid progress and we just got that with more to come in June. A couple of these RNSs and credibility will quickly return. Who knows, one more people than Helpful will like CW -:)

I personally think LK should stop talking about M&A until he delivers one. He has spoken so often about M&A’s and so often we have seen nothing. That is normal, most M&A, despite all best intentions, do not materialise. That is just the nature in the M&A game. So all he needs to say is that he is continually evaluating M&A’s but that he will not comment on them until a deal is concluded. No CEO of a FTSE company would behave like he does.

lots of progress in 2018, indeed. but it was far from perfect. Some good explanations in the RNS, but can’t help feeling LK should have apologised for missed targets. A bit of a shame. It’s never good when ego gets in the way, IMHO. Also: Usually companies report their numbers on a like-for-like basis as well, to show how the “base business “ did vs the acquired business. The BOD didn’t do that which I am not happy about. It muddies the waters and does not allot for a true assessment of performance. We made a loss of £2.6mn, a lot of one-offs explain this. We should see a marked improvement here and start maya profit soon. I look forward to H2 and sincerely hope LK will announce a very convincing SWP attack plan at the AGM.

it’s pretty clear to me the shorters are having a fit. I find it quite amusing really. Shorting will probably never be banned, but why object to clear and stringent regulations to prevent wrongdoings. Surely nobody with honest intentions would object...unless...HANG ON?!...:-)

for the simple fact that AiM is less regulated which always leads to unsavoury practices. I have no issues with shorting FTSE companies because subject to more stringent regulations. Asking for evidence here is asking for evidence of criminal wrongdoing. A good question but none that will lead to satisfactory answers as you very well know....hence you asked that question

aligning SH-interest to BOD interest is indeed a simple idea; not simplistic. It is a very efficient method deployed in pretty much every listed company on any major share index. Your reasoning may be a tad too simplistic, I am afraid

they could take their salaries in shares.

So this company managed to make a loss of £4m in the year they made a profit on the sales T3 stake to the tune of £12.5m, not to mention the millions raised via placing a causing dilution...And your response is “I am following “ big investors....right....
