this is another prime example of how Brexit seems to cloud the minds of many. If there is a backlash of Brexit (possible) than it is because of the consumer spending being a bit subdued due to the economic uncertainty surrounding Brexit. That would be the logical, and more likely explanation. Instead you blame finding a measly £1mn (what is that going to do you think? ) to find a 2nd referendum campaign. I rarely post here, but am astounded at the collective stupidity in this country. Seems people have lost the ability to understand what a democracy is about. One of the interesting facts is that one can vote, to voice it’s political opinion; and guess what you get to vote more than once. People can stick to there guns or change their minds. Simples! All this morning, and complaining about a 2nd referendum is silly. All you need to do (if it happens - big IF) is vote. End of. Rather then being afraid to lose and therefore moan. It’s like a football team that doesn’t want to play an opponent anymore: “we won once; we don’t want to play again against them out of fear to lose!”. Time to grow up peeps, we live in a democracy. Be happy!!

I think your post, Peter, is one of the very few sensible posts we have seen here in a long time. LSE does not seem to realise that many people stay away here because of them. Less traffic, less people trading here. Other platforms are available with a lot less trolls, LSE.

So let me ask you one question: if MTR is all about Botswana, why not simply buy shares of MOD? If they succeed, they will get the bulk of the uplift in shares for obvious reasons. MTR will benefit, but surely not to the same extend as MOD.

having watched this share for years (am not holding), the question is not if there are opportunities for QFI's technology (there are loads - often described here. Hence I got interested). The question is how to monetize these opportunities, and this is where this BOD has failed. IMO by putting all their eggs in one basket. Lesson learned I think, and hopefully the new approach will bare fruit. GLA LTHs

the danger though with a share like this is that real production according to MTR is in 2020. That does not sound that far away,however ask yourself this question: how many companies, in mining on AIM have you seen that actually hit those timelines? Usually they don’t, timelines - for very valid reasons - always slip. And then, the sp inevitably takes a hit. So, despite all the blogs I have read and charts I have seen, I remain puzzled about this company. It feels like a big question whether the assets will actually produce anything in an economically viable fashion, and by when. There is a lot of talk here about assets, which is totally justified, but little about actually monetising them. Where are the dollars, guys. Show me the money!! (you know the movie). Anyway, I expect you to shoot at the above until Swiss cheese looks like the Berlin wall compared to the damage incurred by your eloquent, number and fact based attacks to the above (teaching me how and when this asset-blah-blah will turn into cold hearted beautiful cash). I am too new here to say anything for certain, but I have seen this for many other shares like MYN...lots of promises were made, some were met, other were not and then see you often get a bit of a "wait and see"-attitude with many PI's.

News will arrive, and so it's a bit of a chicken game, who will start buying first before the hordes come in...

exactly, and there are other ways of getting investments. The CFO has alluded to this.
