Well it’s Sunday afternoon and what do you do to get away from a certain poster on the board -go for a run One mile in I was already dreaming and Verbier had come in at the top end of range 130 mbo and share price up to £10 I was not satisfied and by mile 3 that top end was now 160 mbo , Cortina was also drilled and estimated at similar. Now back at car and drowned by storm Freya perhaps I’m not that lucky. I’ll settle for Greybeards £3.99 for starters and just dream of Dicks £43 !!! Roll on the RNS spud

We were discussing fair value last week before Marathon deal and £20 plus was mooted then (broker note £18 if I remember ) That was based on a very lowly PE of 2.5
Remember still potentially no borrowings! and huge cash flow from 24000 boepd rising to 30000 boepd in the next year or so. Difficult to guess netbacks on new production but lets say $30 a barrel
So 24000 x $30 x 365 gives approx $260 million a year before decommisioning expenses
Based on these figures a market cap of $500 million or £384 million would be my calculated guess (£32 /share )
Please feel free to pull apart. Another way to look at this maybe to put a value on the Reserves 70 mbs @ say $7 a barrel - actually gives a similar figure GLA

A P/E of 5 to me also seems very sustainable with current prospects in a safe operating environment Huge potential therefore for continuing rerate without any fireworks from acquisitions P/E of 5 would equate to about £24 a share Not an unreasonable 9 month target !! Good weekend all !!

Hi Rookie That’s a difficult question to answer Just for instance BP is currently on a P/E of 14.9 and Royal Dutch Shell on 19.9 Just think what a rating like that would equate to with share price !!! RRE rating seems massively cheap to me - Dare to dream GLA
