Just bought in this morning on back of what look like great prospects. Like the idea of production from maturing assets -less risk and great immediate cash flow. Im in the RRE story and as mentioned already JSE are on similar strategies Paul Blakeley interview on Montara was very inspiring GLA

Yes Mike -perhaps market may not fully appreciate the true scale of the deal at start but should catch up. It’s not AIM after all which is really good news IMO I like the share split idea also GLA

Broker forecast was £18 before the marathon deal GLA

If you look at the potential cash flow here it will be huge. 24k boed x$30 netback x365 gives over $250million RRE must have a market cap of $450m PE less than 2 Without any future potential which could be massive. Not ramping here -trying to be realistic!

Elray This has to open at £24 a share ie £300 m market cap based on 24000 boed no borrowings and further 6000 boed potential without any upside from a possible IOG deal

21% return on capital just for pipeline is insane - just enough to buy IOG !

Need help ! Trying to get a handle on the value of IOG to RRE Appreciate long way to go and may not happen but seams more likely than not a deal will be done . Am I right in thinking that in order to develop IOG 24000 boed prospect £450 million will be required This would be too much for RRE to take on by itself? even with its huge cash flow Am I right in thinking they may look for a partner to develop as indeed IOG are at the moment We do not know at present time what capex may be required to further develop Marathon Oil prospects GLA

IOG are targeting 25000 boed from their Core development gas project
They need finance/ farm in to proceed - RRE would love to provide the finance . Again another possible huge deal for RRE and all funded from free cash flow !!!

This deal looks better and better ! As I mentioned the other day let’s not forget the 6000 boed hopefully coming in line in next 12 months to add to the 23000 currently being produced !!
