I don't think we ever got a finish date but reading between the lines the majority of the delay and silence was due to ongoing drilling problems.
Whatever it was, it was a change of stance from the previous tweetathon and video interview at every turn.

Correct Pauly, the long silence was a big own goal and I honestly believe had he kept being up front and saying they were still drilling ahead but with difficulties the share price, although still down, would have been somewhere north of where we are today and thus less dilution for Molopo.
Some conjecture in there I know but just imo.

Ben's tweets don't have the same positive affect anymore. Lost a lot of credibility.

john I think the hope was that Salinbas would be fast tracked. When I say fast tracked I mean compared to how it had moved over the previous 10yrs. But at the moment it seems it is moving at the same glacial pace.

One of the things that most disappoints me is that a good home has not been found for the majority of the money.
The third tranche is still not a done deal and we still have had income from RR to boost that $30m.
When I voted for the deal with Ozaltin I was convinced Kerim had a home for that money that would have gone a long way to the production lost through dropping to 23.5%.
That we still have nothing substantial nearly a year later with no plan as to what is to be done with the money, other than vague references to investments, leaves me feeling more than a little dismayed to be honest.
But we continue to be fed on tit bits as and when Kerim feels fit and left to guess the rest and hope something comes out of leftfield to lift our spirits.
It's not good enough really and we need appraising of a proper plan and something that we can measure them by. But I won't be holding my breath.

And you are right John there is absolutely no chance of Tavsan being in operation by q1 23.
Dates come and go with little or no explanation and we have to remember Tavsan is already many years late.

What annoys me most is we are all pretty much saying the same thing on both platforms. A 3%+ holder tells them regularly what needs to change but nothing changes.
Whether it is just pig headedness, or that it's my business and I will run it my way thing and shareholders don't matter.
Whatever it is, it continues to be the most frustrating ride being a Ariana shareholder.

Tavsan is already massively late and is dropping back further.
I really don't know what is happening here at the moment. This company has always frustrated the life out of me but at the moment it's seriously p***ing me off.
Gold and other metals are flying. We have several projects running in Turkey, the JV in Cyprus, the West Tethyan stuff and Asgard and yet we have continued silence.

StanAccy it doesn't surprise me to hear that and expect many are feeling the same way. I am sticking with it but they are on notice. The silence was a big mistake, however Ben likes to dress it up and spin it.
