It's only since an apparent big holder complained on advfn that I shouldn't be posting negatively, or the truth as I call it, when I only owned that amount. So anyway we might finally get to know in the finals in June how much we stumped up of the 2m raised for the zenit bail but I wouldn't hold my breath. And we may, I think, get to know how much of that money and the rest has been paid back in the interims in Sept. Loving the transparency improvement lol.

You can check up how many times MdV has picked up a million shares or so, but you don't really need to. He owns 4% and only added a million recently so why is it so interesting now when he has been holding and adding millions in previous years and in previous fundings. I agree directors buying is usually a good thing but as my point above what is different now from when he has bought before? I have met kerim on more than one occasion at investor shows and honestly think you probably don't know anymore than I know about the man apart from the side he shows investors. However what I do know and what irked you enough in to going and meeting him face to face is that him and his cronies helped himself to your money very recently. That told me, and many others by how the sp has reacted since Xmas, what he is capable of. You was rightly very annoyed at this and now you want everyone to believe he is great again. That certainly is not what several of your posts suggested on advfn at the time. I love your enthusiasm and banging the drum for the company but please don't suggest that people who have fallen out with the company don't know what they are doing or are lemmings or erase the history of how annoyed you was recently.

Van Van I don't see why MdV buying shares has got folk so excited and saying how so aligned they are with shareholders - rubbish. MdV has bought most years and as kerim says in the piece, so has he. With the bid once again at the placing level of last June I would say they have their work cut out Van Van. May be they will persuade the company to give us an actual figure of what has been received from the mine in the form of loan repayments since the start of the year.

Van Van I agree the debt isn't an issue and should be paid off as per timetable if not before. I just feel the market has little appetite for 10k oz per year via a third party company carrying a sizable amount of debt, I may be wrong. Same with Tasvan, yes probably q2 or q3 2020 but too far out still for buyers to get excited about. So my hope is there are sufficient funds to get a good drilling season away at salinbas or better still some inward investment from a big partner or farm out.

Yes Tracylied and at the last meeting they did not take on board what was being said by big holding shareholders neither have they listened to the concerns on Beaufort raised many times over the years so this looks like trying to shut the stable door after the horse has bolted.

Van Van fair points. May be people are so negative as they have had all the positivity knocked out of them. The last straw for many on here, as you have read for yourself, was the greed of the BoD recently against a backdrop of shareholder losses. As you know I am only here for salinbas which as you quite rightly say could be akin to hot maden. I doubt the market will add any significant value on RR alone especially while the debt lingers, and tavsan is too far out. I agree this does have a lowly value but underrated, no. It is rated as it is for the reasons discussed ad infinitum and on here today.

Well that's all very well PAUL1 if you can be certain that in 12 to 18 months the gold price is going to be much higher. Truth is no one knows where gold will be. We all hope it will be much higher but given how it has traded over the last 3 yrs or more it is likely to be very much the same give or take $100. Too many people did not look at the warning signs and took the company too much at their word with Kerims cosy pieces to camera while allowing him to dilute you with bad fund raisings over and over with the now confirmed crooks. Traceylied is right, Kerim and the mgt are the problem. He appears to treat this as HIS baby and benefactor for himself and has, it seems, very little care for the average Jo shareholders. IMO.

Yes good luck Northie. You do make some very salient points many of which have been discussed at length and for good reason as they have and continue to be negative on the SP. However I am not sure production costs of $600 is a stick to beat them with. Yes some companies do have lower costs but many have much higher costs with some barely turning a profit at $1000. That said that they don't yet have permits for other pits at RR is a strange one and hopefully there will be enough ore at arzu south until those others kick in. You make an interesting point on Turkey. I know I don't hold a lot now but I have been seriously considering whether I want to be invested in a country that is so blatantly and cruelly persecuting the kurds. At the moment it remains a consideration.

Yes dougal very soon I hope. Let's not forget Asher was very confident about Namibia seismic and lost a packet of money too. It's a lesson for us all when investing in oilers not to be fully invested when the drill bit hits no matter how good the seismic. When you are drilling and mile and a half deep no one knows what madam drill bits will turn up. Anyway the Cameroon acreage is a lot less risky than the frontier Namibia well but same rules will apply. There will be plenty of money to be made on run up to drilling or farm out. Gl all.
