Yes I am sure there is Mike but without income or cashing in an asset then I do not see what could actually be available other than issuing more shares.

May be they are confident of wrapping things up but in what respect. Anything other than a farm out would be disastrous for current holders and talk of BP being a potential suitor is fanciful.
If Cluff have to go it alone our holdings will be diluted to oblivion. Personally I would rather them give the original licences up than attempt to risk all and end up going to the wall. We will know soon enough. 16 trading days and counting.

If only it was inconceivable. Nothing could be further from the truth. Either we will get a farm in or we won't. Both scenarios are possible but you would think they would have got something over the line by now and the market is discounting failure.

Small top up for me at over a penny less than recent raising. I am sure it will be Wick first but that doesn't bother me. I think Colter, although a decent prospect, will be a sideshow here and I await the next big asset coming in to the portfolio, potential crown farm down and other news from Jamaica.

The main problem is it is a predominantly PI held stock and until that changes the sp is unlikely to rerate and if it does manage to have a run there will be a lot of profit taking on the way.
The company, for whatever reason, fails to attract institutional investment. They brought Panmure Gordon in to manage that job and it looks as though they have given up too. We know the reasons why PIs are shy of investing in this, much of which hopefully is now in the past, but is Turkey the reason for the lack of institutional investment. Answers on a postcard.
The company need to make good on their comments in the results and see where that takes us.

I didn't know Cluff had a choice. Plain and simple if he doesn't land a farm in, that he has failed to do for too long, or dilute this in to oblivion to raise enough money to drill then he will lose them. Will he pull it off? Judging by the sp movement it's doubtful.

Bythesea take care buddy, I think many of us share your pain. I think your gut instinct was the same as everyone else by backing these so called experts with long CVs. However I think that has been where we went wrong as these guys were so sure of themselves to the point of arrogance and have cocked up royal.
I too have money I can't afford to lose but mentally writing it off and harsh lessons learned. What a bunch of amateurs betting on a copper market turning up instead of down when it has been nothing but volatile since the banking crisis and there was always the possibility of it going sour. To not have all bases covered prior to taking on such a large project was just bonkers and now we are all paying for it. DeL Boy you are an amateur that have shafted shareholders at every turn.

Bowl you ask why not Italy. Simply because the permitting processes for planning, drilling and production are far too lengthy and constraining. I understand the company gives 2019 for production guidance but you can expect that to slip. Anything off shore and you are totally wasting your time.
In my opinion there are a lot less restrictive jurisdictions to do business and I hope that is what is coming.

Thanks 1750, unfortunately it has not stopped the rot. Hope the 'game-changing' acquisition is not in Italy or waters off Italy. Hopefully it will be some sort of acquisition that includes production and cash flow.

Why would they rather it come out on the back of Wick drill? If there is significant news it should not be withheld and I would rather have separate news rather than a bungled together update. From those pictures it warrants it's own RNS.

copperpot I am not one of the one's who bought on the twitter pictures, I have held from the 1.3p days, have a largish holding and have great faith in the company and Dr.S after also being an old Cove holder. However some people did and all the chatter since the pictures were uploaded were of people expecting some news to follow. What is wrong with putting a RNS out to that effect anyway and letting people know what is the status quo in Sarawak as we have had nothing for so long. I certainly think the photo with PETRONAS warranted some comment.
I don't mind twitter photos if they are backed up. The problem with twitter photos is they are left open to interpretation.

It's what happens when you post pictures on twitter which artificially lifts the SP on some hoped for long awaited news on Sarawak and then disappoint. I wish companies would not do this but it seems to be happening more and more.
