Selling off individual brands would be last resort. Times like these sort out who can survive. Cash is king & when its gone, you scrub your own rags with everyone else & bath in the same bathwater. Driving up sales needs double the normal effort. This used to be the realm of the salesperson now its so-called unskilled influencers. Public won't spend a King's shilling when the King wants all the shillings through tax & inflation. For companies its best to retain core assets & minimise the inventory until better times which won't appear if military & overseas spending increases.

Price drops tell a good storey & DEBS follows BOO in the management style as they are one of the same. No comms from Dan therefore the market will punish & the pesky shorts will go hand in hand with the MMs to drive the SP down & down. This creates opportunities. 12p is not unrealistic at this point in time & 9p further down the line. Mid twenties only on strong positive news now. This stock is best when volatility is high. Watch the volumes. 11M+ and its game on

Seems all are waiting for the power to be switched on at corporate HQ. Even the cleaner has little to do. Staff have been replaced with happy faces on the VDUs & a lingering smell of old coffee is in the air. So no action at the top & speculation is rife that directors will take the quick exit for the top of the building (helicopter of course). The masterplan is left half in the shredder & the half lit neon sign flashes dimly BOO BOO - maybe it's a not so bad but the risk of being here escalates day by day. Those here are stuck in the elevator & the doors don't open. Can't go up or down. Best action while stuck in a holding position is to control your breathing & pray no one breaks wind.

One thing that hangs in the wind in Carol's obsession to acquire more brands. Perhaps she wants Givenchy (LVMH). As most of the current brands under DEBS are not generating a good revenue I think her efforts should involve increasing profits. Pedro61 - What if the 1200p prediction is right and some unforetold event happens in the immediate future. Spouting past predictions works for all but without decisive dates & confirmed sources of information, they are flowers for the fairies.

If the SP tanks to 10p on Monday there would be a huge take up of +30M trades. Likewise, a whiff of fresh money coming in to the accounts would see a spike in the SP. It's obvious that hedge funds are draining the SP to break the company & it seems a long game. Shareholders can only lower their average or jump ship during this time. This year's accounts will probably show the same direction as last years so not expecting anything other than more gloom.

Pedro61 you need to pick better numbers - how about 61p for xmas? or 16p for Tuesday? Money can be made either way if you make the right choice. Always best to be ready to jump on/off the ladder at the right moment. Incidentally, when large BUY trades occur, the SP drops as happened this week. That MM theory still runs true.
