Yes, Vlad is in talks with Big Pharma, as he has confirmed. It is more than likely, rather than less than likely, that a deal of a JV/Sale of Hemo Car-T has one of the conditions being commercial scale up of manufacturing. Hence why the tech transfer is in progress.

I also think it is more likely, than less likely, that these talks with Big Pharma started months ago, perhaps before/after the first initial patient results. My money is on one of the previous Big Pharma that Vlad has had a working relationship with in the past.

The ongoing alluding to of 'oh my god 5.6 million is needed by the end of January', as that is what it says in the prospectus, is a diversion. Yes, those are the likely funds required IF nothing else happens. But it is simply a legal requirement to put SWOT analysis into a prospectus. But seriously. I do not see Vlad breaking into a sweat. Do you?

In my experience, it takes around 9 months to complete a JV/Purchase deal, due to due diligence and legals. So if we do assume for a moment that negotiations started in Spring, then we are likely in for a good Christmas, which aligns nicely with funds coming in before the end of January. Hence, why Vlad is not breaking a sweat, and is quite relaxed and happy.

Of course, he did actually say that he was talking to Pharma'S (plural) which makes things even more exciting.

IMO we will see news of a JV deal, with an upfront payment, and further payments based on successful outcomes at agreed milestones. I expect this to land before Christmas.

Vlad has already publicly said that he is talking to Pharmas. Tip: They are not discussing the weather!

Haywains posts in this thread say it all really. Hemo have got something special and unique here. Vlad as he said himself, is already in talks with big Pharma. As Haywain says, and I've said previously, they will be ratatched up tight with NDA's.

The first retail investors will get to hear about it, is when an RNS drops out of the blue, announcing a JV, milestone payments, or a buy-out. And IMO it could be a good Christmas for us all this year. Big Pharma is not going to sit on the sidelines and allow their competition to get in first.

What's not to like about this interview?

1. It is safe at the lowest dose. This has been independently verified.

2. Good signs of efficacy.

2. We ARE talking to large pharma companies, who may wish to purchase or in-licence this treatment. (present tense).

3. Will be treating 2 patients per month. 1 x paed, 1 x adult.

Alde: You are displaying your complete lack of knowledge of business acumen. Stop rattling on about lack of transparency etc. And effectively slagging off Vlad in not giving out any further information.

It is without doubt that ALL business relationships with both MD Anderson, the trial, any other companies, Estonia, Prevail, etc etc. are all covered by, and locked up into, NDA's (Non-Disclosure Agreements). This is not unusual and is completely normal for most inter-company business transactions, and is especially important where cutting edge science is involved.

So sit back, and relax. And stop being tiresome.

MD Anderson Clearance to Initiate Pediatric Enrolment in HG-CT-1 Clinical Trial

Hemogenyx Pharmaceuticals plc (LSE: HEMO) is pleased to announce that the Institutional Review Board ("IRB") at MD Anderson Cancer Center ("MD Anderson") has approved an amendment to the clinical protocol of the Company's ongoing Phase I trial of HG-CT-1, its proprietary CAR-T cell therapy for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia ("R/R AML").

The approved amendment expands the eligibility criteria for the trial to include children and adolescents with R/R AML, allowing the Company to begin enrolling pediatric patients into the study.
