Thanks Barrabrand, minor slip of the fingers calling them David when they're actually Daniel! Seems from their message page though that they too may have some disgruntled investors, who can't get their money out.
When are they going to relist? I'm missing something, I can't see that anywhere.
Had a fewthous of these but hopefully out of the debacle of Flyb, which I sold today with an 80% loss, and topped up a few more of these with the proceeds. Ought to come out square, what d's yea think?
Ladies that lunch would love that. They generally have n idea of the value of money so will beveasily fleeced, two to one, save 5, you know the score. Stroke of genius, I think!
Reflects.
A well known and well liked brand. The share price barely defects the value of the goodwill in this company, nev mind the money in the bank.
Mine still not showing, just the 650k I asked for but presumably won't get and my original 40k that I bought 4 years ago at 0.28
Was that in a SIPPS or ISA or fund and share a/c? Mine haven't appeared yet in my ISA.
Are you on the right board, knuttsfotdnotary? Sounds like that should be on the BMN board, not the BNN.
the kenner. What leads you to that conclusion? Will it rise again once it gets there?
About 40 years ago I invested a few hundred in the above company. No kings ransom, but a couple of nights out for all that. I'm glad the board has had that couple of good nights out and I now have a fivers worth of shares in Petroceltic! It's a long ride, boys, but it's been fun all the while!
Sadly, money lost, kiss it good bye! If you hold in a nominee account, it'll simply disappear.
I couldn't actually find the figure but your estmate seems reasonable. Thats a one off though, it won't be repeated in future years, the investment is made and now I trust we'll start to see a return! Overall profitability is around 35m, so about three or four years profits are in Southend, if you like! However, Stobart pay a cracking dividend. I've every faith, but dyor.
Although airports are a part of Stobarts business, they're only a small part of the overall picture. I've been a long time investor here, I really believe in Stobart and the BOD, and have been to look at Carlisle a few times. I doubt if there are the passenger numbers even though its a super airfield in size terms but i've just read what kimbob said below about Southend and would concur. In the GLArea, there is also Manston in North Kent which has runway size galore, a train station and an equal distance from central london as Southend. I would be inclined to think of it as a likely candidate for significant growth ahead of Southend. But having said that, they may well both have their own parts to play!
