Sorry but I think If GGP is bought out for 22p Then it’s daylight robbery. If that is for the rest of Havieron then it’s fair, don’t be sucked in to accepting what is a life changing offer to a lot of people, because that is no way anywhere near what I think GGP will be worth in a few years if they hold on to Scallywag, just my opinion !

Red, that last bit of your post is the bit that strikes a chord . The relationship with Newcrest will want to be kept because of Scally. So I think they will play along with GGP and what they want to do . Just for that reason .. Scally could be even bigger and Is closer to Telfur .. makes long term sense to keep
GGP on side as the benefits could be huge for all concerned !

Tig .. sorry to dampen your enthusiasm But GH did not say anything about about a special dividend for investors, but did say that the sale of 5% would fund the cost to get to production ! That to me was the important part .. long term returns rather than short term bonus. !

Loftmonkey how do you get to that conclusion, when he just stated that Greatland could easily get finance if needed to fund going mining .. my mind says we are and it will benefit shareholders greatly !

GGP don’t need to raise funds . they have more than enough to do drilling in Scally and pay their share of mining costs to get Hav to production .. then it’s plain sailing .

Always take the highest figure because he is not going to over egg it .. or let too much out the bag .eithercwsy it’s a lot !

Correct and Telfer is processing 0.93g/t at the moment. Simple maths x 10 = 9.3g/t over an area which Sandeep said was 2million tons . You do the maths. and that is only the Horseshoe which is still open ! Unless I am mistaken!

Someone said Newcrest don’t do JV’s .. you need to have a look at their presentation, most of their assets are JV’s and I would not be surprised if this goes the same way !

Also why haven’t they done that with all the other JV’s ? All conjecture as far as we are concerned but makes for an interesting discussion !

San, it was just an observation based in current Newcrest holdings, which may or may not evolve the same way ..the interesting part is no matter what, the next few years are going to be exciting to say the least !

Just my input guys .. having read the Newcrest presentation a thing that jumps out at me is that most of Newcrests assets are JV’s with 70% Newcrest owned, so who is to say they won’t continue that trend with Havieron ????

I think all your calcs are wrong, Newcrest wouldn’t be creaming themselves over 0.74g/t

I think it has been clearly stated that the delay on Scally is due to covid-19 .. and the local people ! So no point in speculating otherwise !
