Oilmonkey, no criticism from me mate , you do what is best for you, I wasn’t having a dig just saying how some people may view what people say, as boasting about what they are doing with their shares, ( you don’t come into that bracket ) in a jealous manner and that’s when the abuse starts ! As I said good luck in whatever you choose to do ! And before anyone starts that is my view of how some people react ! Generally this board of great with a fund of information and we should all feel lucky we found GGP at whatever time we did !

That’s a general statement which cannot be verified .. good luck to anyone who does well out of GGP but don’t boast about what you do with the money you make !

Oilmonkey, good luck whatever you do .. but in general people don’t like to hear what others do with their shares especially if it is a lot more than theirs ..Elise take note .. it comes across as boasting and that’s when all the nasty comments arrive. That’s human nature sorry to say !

Shelly.. it won’t make any difference whether Newcrest own 75% or 100% .. the big guys are big enough to buy out both Newcrest and GGP !

Good question Speedy, if that is all fact then once it is revealed it will make a huge difference to the share price .. it’s all looking too good to be true !!

Speedy .. hanging on to the 25% will dwarf those figures massively! And if as Paddy says they get to FS before the 5% is sold, then I think 10m Oz will be well passed ! So your figures will be well out ;-))

Paddy ..that is my thinking too .. why give up on the golden goose (25% ownership of Havieron) for the next 20 + years guaranteed income ! Leaves GGP the flexibility to go do what they want on the other sites. A win win for me !!

Joe, every one will have different requirements re exit strategy and none are wrong, for me it all depends on what GGP see as their future .. keep 25% of Havieron suits me, buyout at a good price wouldn’t faze me, a good price for the rest of Havieron and a good strike at one of the other sites, would make me think, but I am in the position where I don’t NEED to do anything until it suits me .. others have different needs.. each to their own but I hope we all get what we want !

It wouldn’t be the first time Newcrest have taken a share in a company they are in a JV with ( Antipa .. Newcrest own 9% of the company ) 10% of GGP would be a good boost to the company and the share price !
