I already own some Gold shares in a mid cap Gold company.but I have been waiting a little while to receive a Second tranch of money ...I saw the price of Gold rising today so decided to take the plunge and buy some more Gold Shares ...First time ever I have owned Shanta Gold Shares ...But what a great start !!!....Half an hour.later the share price was starting to climb.higher ....I still have some catching up to do on researching the company but from the little I understand so far the fundamentals look good ...Here is to prosperous Christmas everyone .....Rgds Lenin ..

Judy it would be wrong of me to make a prediction of where we will be by the end of November but what I can tell you is when news is forthcoming often investors act like what you might expect at a black Friday sale with everyone rushing to get in at the last moment ..Also to sell up and go somewhere else is very risky at the moment with the way the current situation is with the Lockdown / Corona Virus etc...At least this share has stayed solid and stable ...The Chinese say patience has its own virtues ....

HI I am a recent investor so somebody may give more detailed information ..but yes a placing did take place at 110 p but a positive here.. although the share price fell it has not gone back to the placing price ...They are not yet in production so this was done to extend operations ..But this should change towards the end of November with Scotland's first Gold pour ... Often the value of the share price can rocket at the last minute ( but I do not have a Crystal Ball ).. Good luck with whatever you decide to do ..Rgds Lenin

I noticed a number of small sales over the last couple of days but at the very end of the day the share price goes almost back to where it was at the start of the day ....It will get much more interesting end of November ...

Do not forget they are not actually in production s ( money making ) stage yet ...It will take be to long to comment on the full.details here but I believe this should be in two phases the first one starting very soon ...

Sometimes with shares there can be a sideways movement for a while and then when the good news hits a sudden upwards movement as a large number of people can be late to join the party !!!.( In a manner of speaking )

I noticed somebody brought a single share on the 30 th October ...what will they do if they double their money ???!!!...

I cannot help think the increasing Corona Virus Pandemic is a double edge sword for Scotgold... Nobody wants the number of cases to spike so much that there is some sort off full scale lockdown and all businesses close ...But of course alhough this may not be very nice to think about the increasing number of cases is supposed to be giving support to the price of Gold as the yellow.metal is usaully classed as a safe haven in times of uncertainty ...When Gold goes up the gains in Gold Mining shares can be magnified as well as the losses when Gold goes in the other direction..At the moment the times we are living in seems to indicate investing in Gold Mining is a good long term bet ..as well as the near term promising prospects for Scotsgold ...

Sad to see the Norwegian Air Share Price is still Grounded ...Maybe time to change the Captain.. the CoPilot ..and the Sexy Norwegian Air Hostess too !!!..

Many thanks to you and Mr Blakney for your information on resolving this mystery puzzle ...In England of course we maybe having a higher level of lockdown from Monday but since I have held shares in Scotgold I have learned you have a slightly different system for Lockdown so hopefully you will not increase the Lockdown level in Scotland ( assuming you are both Scottish .. apologies if not ..) ...and if we were lucky enough and the share price did go up to £7.00 I think I will be drinking a whole bottle of Scotch whisky which I usaully never drink just to get over the shock !!!!..Rgds Lenin ...

Just wondered if any longer-term investor with good knowledge off the company is reading the message board this weekend ....I cannot help but notice on the Google Share Chart two mystery spikes in the Scotsgold Share Price ..one from May that appears to show the price of the share over 500 pence for a very brief period and one from January showing the price at maybe around 900 pence for another very brief period ...But when I check other charts such as my own trading app or Hargreaves Landsdown etc..these spikes do not appear ...I have tried to do some research on Scotgold during these time frames but cannot seem to find anything that specifically connects to these spikes ..So the two things I am trying to establish is did these spikes actually happen or is it some sort of error just on the Google Charts and also what would be the reason for these spikes if the actually happened .. ....One thing I have been able to establish in the more distant past the share price was at a much higher level before there was a general decline where it then stayed at a very lower level for a number of years ...I will forward ..a many thanks for anyone who is able to devote just a little time to shed some light on this double share price spike mystery ..Rgds Lenin

Should one of the midcap oil companies go under which is a real possibility should the Southwards direction continue for the price of oil ...for example Tullows debts are over a couple of Billions.. should ntheir investors should they lose all their money ..they would have no one but to blame but themselves for overlooking a company like U J O which has decent Financials ...Size isn't everything but decent Financials are .!!!!

I should think U J O is better placed to get through the Pandemic as compared to more heavily indebted oil companies such as Tullow or Premier etc .as U J O have plenty off cash in the bank. assuming Brent Crude stays in the high 30 dollars per barrel range but at this moment in time it will not make any difference to investor sentiment ...
