Yes .7 or .8 is possible because that is the price to be paid for the .volatility ...of this type of share ...It could equally recover just as rapidly depending on events moving forward ..the bigger company shares may move more slowly down but can also move more slowly back up...The fall may possibly also be related just as a bad day for many shares ...a potential Nuclear accident in the Ukraine is not going to give any potential investor the confidence to buy shares today ..
You ask if this share could reach over a £1 ???..No one could predict with any absolute certainty where the share price may end up but many AIM shares either go into or can come back out of what I would describe as a ....dormant period ...where they stay extremely low in value for a long period of time to varying degrees but when the fundemdals of the company improve and especially on some major news about the company the share price can then go parabolic and the value of the share has no relation to the value of the company ....The background fundemdals have dramatically improved for Mosman which hopefully at the very least should give some continued lift to the share price at this present period of time ...
Within the last 24 hours WTI Crude has jumped a whopping 7% up to over 110 dollars a barrel while Natural Gas Prices are very strong ...An announcement yesterday that 60 million barrels of oil reserves would be released by a number of different countries around the world has done nothing to stop the rise as Russia pumps more than this in just 6 days ..It is reported that commodity traders are not facing up to the fact at the moment that the oil price should go much higher.. ...
You ask what would it take to get this share price to over a penny ???... Putting to one side any near future positive news on Mosman there could be a continued rise at the moment simply because of a changing sentiment towards this sector with a number of small to medium cap shares in the energy sector starting to recover ........especially as recent events have suddenly made Western Governments realize that relying on Oil and Gas from despotic regimes is full of unintended consequences for which are own societies may end up paying a heavy price ....
What makes more today exceptional ...Is for many shares In the energy sector and others it is a bad day for shareholders for obvious reasons with many shares being in the red .... Having your business operations in the USA and Australia is a good situation to be in at the moment !!!
What I find so Hypocritical ...President Joe Biden delaying decisions on new oil and gas drilling on federal lands and other energy related actions ....and now recently.sending officials to Saudi Arabia asking them to pump more oil because a Russian attack will send USA energy prices soaring...Off course as Russia is part of OPEC + the Saudis rejected this and why would they want to pump out more oil just to help out a President who is unpopular back home with the American voting Public ???..
Putting aside for one moment what is a good day for Mosman.. this could be a good year for energy stocks in general . ... especially with the general lack of investment in the oil and gas sector which means these forms of commodities may become more scarce pushing up prices and hence company profits ...Plus the uncertainty surrounding the Ukraine which may hit Russian oil and Gas production a major producer in world markets....It was the year of Gold stocks 2020 ..now it's the turn of energy stocks 2022..
WTI Crude is up over 5 % at 96 dollars a barrel today while Brent Crude is closing in on at 100 a barrel .... Meanwhile U S A Natural Gas has climbed back up to around 4.54 million British Thermal Units ...The commodity fundamentals for Mosman are looking the best for many years ...
Sorry to hear for you or anyone in this situation .( I have been there myself )..I found averaging down at these levels with small amounts of cash using spaced minimum repetition can make a big difference at these levels but it partly depends on the amount and what price was originally paid for the share ...The pros are.... it's easier to get out with possibly a handsome profit ...The con is a shareholder becomes more dependant on the future preformance of that particular company ...It's not something to be done lightly but with Mosman I have full confidence on averaging down will work out ...but each shareholder must off course work out their own preference ...
I know one trading day can be a long time in relation to shares ( and I never predict where a share price will be at a future date ) ..but hopefully we may have just broken the .09 Resistance Level which the Mosman share has stayed under for a little while now ....which I am thinking indicates we are definitely in an upward trend ...Good luck to all share holders ...
Over the last few weeks I would say that resistance is around .9 and support has been around .7 ...if .9 can be broken which the share price has stayed near to then we may finally start to see an upward trend .. sometimes patience is needed though because when shares flatline this can go on for a while ...
I thought my eyes were deceiving me when I saw Mosman held on to it's earlier gain ... Usually with the early 10 % plus gains they are often lost later in the day ( or at least over the last few months they have been ) ...let's hope we see more frequent days like this going forward ....
You mention the market having valuations of companies about right ....This may be true but not always as valuations are often based on sentiment...not on the actual worth ( or book cost ) of the company which can often indicate a very different value ...When a penny share company suddenly finds favour with shareholders because of some sudden good news... the valuations can often go mental and bear no valuation to that particular company ...
I think the 38 million shares in issue that you are seeing showing on different sources is an error ...The total market cap for this is showing as £30,453.59 which is an error as well ... Purely from memory ( and another poster is perfectly welcomed to correct me if they think this is wrong ) the total number of shares in issue was around 3.6 billions ... Now I know that is a big number but it is dwarfed by others in this sector ... Reabold Resources 8.93 billion shares ...Baron Oil 11.58 billion shares ...And the king of share dilution ...
..U K Oil and Gas 16.24 Billion shares !!!...
Off course with AIM the up and down patterns of the shares can be vary unpredictable ...But a familiar pattern with these types of shares is where they flatline / or very little happens for a medium to longer period and then suddenly they lift very high into outer orbit on some very good news about the company ...In this situation I think it can be very lucrative to build a good position size while the shares are flatlining which is what I am currently trying to do with Mosman ...But each shareholder must of course consider the upside potential to the downside risk with any penny share ...
From your awnser ......I take this that you have absolutely no idea how the timescale for the Australian Helium project is effected by the survey delay.......I will wait to see if anyone does know the timescale situation ....if not I will take you up on your suggestion and then make that information available on here ....
I watched the recent Interview given by Andy Carroll for Proactive on YouTube ...he was asked about the exploration for Helium/ etc in Australia ... Although the interview only briefly touched on Australia , Andy Carroll replied that because of issues with Covid/ Lockdowns etc in Australia that the survey work had been delayed from originally October until March ....I just wondered if a share holder with good technical knowledge of this can say how the timescale for the entire project is now effected ..I know this may seem like a stupid question but is he now saying the whole project is 6 months delayed or not ...For what timescale ( if it is possible to predict ) would Mosman be expecting a successful result for the Australian project ????..An advanced many thanks for any replies ... Regards Lenin...
