Wilson63 no disrespect to you, however anyone who games is aware of the industry switch from console to the cloud.
Cloud gaming is not new and Stadia is for example just the latest reincarnation of this type of technology. Stadia has also not delivered anywhere near as well as it was lorded to do so. It has failed in the same areas that many of its predecessors have with lag and surprisingly with a limited number of titles on release. FM20 being one of them FYI.
Despite this Xbox under Microsoft have released their own cloud based system to much more acclaim showing that this type of gaming can be done. Just not yet. I also worry that companies such as Microsoft and Google do not needs a Bids they can and surely will fill that gap themselves
I think the biggest question for Bids is how effective are these add and can it be proved before these companies are up and running in this market, For example I play FM20 and have done so for 10+ years. I'm not convinced that the Bids Adds are that eye catching at the side of the pitch when one is willing the ball into the back of the net.
I am happy to be persuaded otherwise and that the brief case study that came to light with subway did interest me.
I think what I'm trying to say is that I do not think big AAA games are the be all and end all for this share. What we need is the proof that the tech works and then have it rolled out in a number of games on a multitude of platforms. Am i saying I wouldn't want this in FIFA HELL NO! But I am saying that it not being would not be the end of the world
