RE: Ukraine Russia meeting27 Aug 2025 09:46
Every G7 leader (ex China) and Ukraine have an interest to line their pockets (now or the future) with £$££$$.
Just check out the G7 leaders net worth over the last 30 years.
The Ukraine proxy war is a wealth transfer of taxpayers monies to the industrial military complex, no different to Covid is a transfer of taxpayers monies to big pharma.
Zelensky is the highest paid actor in the world and has no friends\ allies. It's strictly business at the expense or ruining Ukraine, it's people, it's future and also destroying UK and Europe in the process.
Anyone that supports this or any proxy world is either clueless or has a serious case of Stockholm syndrome. Take a walk to ride to your supermarket. Bumpy pot-holed roads, over priced eggs, shoplifting, rise in street crime, rise of homelessness on the streets, people queueing food banks because they can't pay their expensive energy (elec and gas) bills... yet our governments are far happy to support this proxy war whilst at the expense of out own welfare and future prosperity. A £20bn blackhole, now a £50bn blackhole and yet we are happy to throw another £10bn into this crazy Ukraine proxy war. What is wrong with solving our own problems in the UK first? As the U.K digress into a low trust society is this the place you want to raise your child, build a life or to retire? This also applies to Europe. As this proxy Ukraine war continues on, the poorer UK will become and that's a fact. Without peace there is no stability and growth, and hate only causes violence an a increasing level of disappear and poverty.
What we know is FXPO can only thrive in peace times. FXPO is only competitive on the world stage with cheap energy from Russia. FXPO can only thrive with a new independent Ukraine\Government. FXPO can only thrive with access to ports in Odessa. FXPO can only thrive by retaining their skilled employees rather forced conscripted on the waring frontline. The longer this war carries on, the worst FXPO will be as a good investment. Do the maths, the risk be worst than any benefits from holding onto FXPO shares. The truth hurts and it's not me shorting this FXPO stock. Social benefits for the UK first rather than private benefits (gains) from stock investing in FXPO at the expense of ruining UK with a mountain of social cost for our future generation to inherit.
