I think short term profitability has been smashed by depressed gas prices and the new tax, plus JKX is producing more gas than oil in % terms nowadays vs a while back, but aggregate production of circa 10,000 boepd should be worth a fair bit more than this in the long term ... just a punt for me though GL

I am unhappy with the option scheme because it effectively transfers significant salary expenses from the business direct to the shareholder. This to me is just as wrong and offensive as it would be if NTBR were to send me a bill from one of their suppliers for me to pay, in order to save the company money! I also absolutely refuse to believe that share based payments incentivise any better than cash based payments, and I firmly believe that the "coercive and game rigging" nature of issuing cheap options to insiders significantly undermines the quality of stewardship being provided by senior management. ... **** The only rational response I can imagine that a market participant can give to the existence of the scheme is to attempt to "build" a discount into their valuation methods and models for "FORECAST MANAGEMENT PREDATION OF EQUITY" over a 25-50 year period!

Inorganic growth by taking on more debt gets my vote. Lol ... worked so well last time!

"The Board intends to continue to use share options to incentivise key people in the future" ... How is a reasonably rational investor / market participant who is not an insider, meant to react if unhappy about this? ... in the past when confronted by this sort of thing I have had a strop sold everything and sat sulking on the side lines watching the share price continue to rise!
