Today's share prices ... £32.66 v £1.68 2016 Underlying EPS ... £2.95 v 27p Dividends for 2017 ... £2.09 v 10.4p Note:- i think my Rio numbers are ok but don't follow it that much; the £2.09 includes 29p as buybacks. Comparing revenue to debt ratios might be useful too?

Sold 10k @ just over £1.68 ... holding 100k ... just read a seeking alpha blog/article saying negative stuff about current iron prices (being under $85)

Bought 10k @ £1.56 ish ... holding 110k results seem ok (underlying eps 27p v 19p 2015) Fxpo seems to be trading off a P/E ratio of 6 which is possibly a bit over half that for RIO? ... 2.6p dividends to be paid in April and May + 2 more targeted for the autumn (being twice yealy 3.3 cents base and special by policy, reinstated)

Are they being advised by mr Osborne?

For 2017 forecast if drilling results disappoints

Underlying EPS 1.1p to 1.3p (2016) & 1.25p to 1.4p (2017) *** Based on 20 minutes or so of fag packet calcs.

Approximately half a million of them become exercisable in march ... quite surprised by the rally in the run up to that!
