The reason the share price is down is that on the RNS this morning the priced spiked to 0.26p allowing those with placement shares to make a quick profit. Those shares were then held by the MM and the price reduced back down to where it is now. This process will rinse and repeat several times over yet I fear. It will be free gas discovery and that alone that will take us out of the current price range.

Sully. Treat it as money gone from all of the previous buys and now just think of it as a potential to make something given the now low sp with any new buys. Fair point.

LTH 150,000 shares at 8p average. Lost far too much but my own fault. But really not sure if I should average down in the hope of getting something back.

I too feel this is much more likely. Just because their is a resolution to issue more shares they don't have to do it immediately. I wonder if they have good news to announce that will drive a small recovery in the price then go to issue shares discounted to that new small price increase. Yes we still get a dilution but not at the price the shares are at the moment.

Reading all of the posts over the last couple of days, I don't think i've seen much discussion on the above line from the RNS. Doing this sort of a thing for a living (Financial PR) - unsolicited approaches would normally be code for takeover discussion. If so, I'm not sure if that's a good thing, given that an offer premium over the current share price, would probably still be no where near what most LTH are needing to now break even or make any type of profit. What do others think?

8% drop in the last hour of trading. Surely a leak?

Lots of negative talk about a possible fundraise. And I get that - no one wants to be diluted. Especially if (like me.. 8.6p to break even) you are underwater. The only thing i would say is remember a fundraise isnt the worse thing that could happen....it could be the polar oppositive and the company runs out of money and cant get a placement away. So given so many LTH are underwater, please think about the medium term and dont bemoan a fundraise (if and when it comes) too much - it might just be all we have to keep the dream alive.

I thought that was a pretty good interview, given this morning's news. Please dont give a CEO too much flak for using scripts and prompts. The lawyers are all over this type of interview and the alternative is to not do them. Better to have at least some colour and context, even if the words have been pre-decided. The news on the sourcing of new parts was good - as was the reason for not drilling deeper now. It makes sense to move on and then come back when you have the right drill bit. I wish I had a bit on hand to average down.

Lots of interesting detail in the annual report, released today. There needs to be some decent institutional money come in to make a real difference. The largest shareholders over 3% are essentially all trading platforms for retail shareholders:

Hargreaves 24% (!!)

Interactive investor 10%

etc, etc.

When the shareholder register changes we know the (professional) market is finally taking notice.
