I think the issue with El P is that because it was primarily about "the rocks" and not aimed at "discovery", it is not one of those campaigns where there is anything to report from particular holes, or every single hole. There is no concept of a great hole, a duster hole, an infill, step out, etc, etc. Instead they are drilling to study the rocks and formations.

BG hinted at this when he said a few months ago that they wanted to give a comprehensive picture. Otherwise, it's like putting out a few pieces of a big jigsaw puzzle - it will be meaningless.

Also, we know that they expanded the drilling the campaign at the end. There will have been reasons for this. So will they not want to wait for those assays as well, which will have been submitted at the end and will be the last to come back?

I think most of us knew Q1 wasn't going to happen as soon as we heard about the delays with the assays - so probably since the start of the year. Then as they announced upgraded JORCs, and latterly the DFS optimisation, that probably signalled that Q2 was out as well. I think where they are now, it's probably reasonable to expect offers and term sheets by Q3.

With £2 million in cash, the final DFS tranche to come through and warrant monies, they easily have enough of a cash runway to get them through P1 funding.

Yes, we need to wait for the comprehensive RNS on El P, but very encouraged by the information that they have put out so far in the interviews. Also, that they have been talking about a follow up campaign at El P. Remember, BG set the bar very low on for this maiden campaign by saying it was about looking and finding the right rocks, rather than finding gold or siliver. So it looks very much like they have exceeded those expectations.

Remember also that there are other projects in the area that are far more advanced than ours. So we can cross map our findings on this maiden campaign with these other projects to help us along as well. Just as we have been doing with Collective Mining's Apollo project and our very own El Cedro.

So when the RNS comes out, we can start cross and compare with these other projects in the vicinity in Argentina. That's the whole point of nearology - it's not always just your own results, but also looking at the other projects in the area.

Unless Trump is playing for time or trying to catch the Iranians by surprise, it does look like the actual fighting with Iran has ended - although not in Lebanon just yet. Now it's just a case of reaching a deal and getting the strait opened.

That's the other thing about this month - if we get a deal that formally ends the war in the next few weeks, then that also sets us up nicely for a rip roaring H2 of 2026.

We've seen large buys come in once more at the lows, after seeing large sells come in at highs. I suspect, therefore, that the share price is being worked by large players accumulating at the lows, and selling at the highs. Then rinse and repeat. There can't be too much stock left around 8p as we have been soaking supply at this level for a quite a while now.

We are approaching what will easily be the biggest news event that BRES will ever have, if or when it secures (P1) funding. If before this news is announced, all the cheap supply continues to be taken out, and we also get some insti interest, then it will be a great backdrop for a significant re-rate. All within Q3?

Large buys going through under 20p. With the newsflow we have coming up in H2 of 2026, I reckon this month is the last opportunity to get these very cheap. We should build a higher floor shortly, and then it's a case of seeing where the newsflow around El P, Apta, Pepas, Pepas West, Pepas South and El Cedro takes us.

It was 2p to 41p during the previous run up. Where will we go from 16/17p on this next run up?

Then immediately after selling, it's a complete volte face with seeds of doubt in pretty much every post. So excuse the scepticism.

I think either outcome is fine for OMI. As the article says, the current President managed to improve his relations with Trump.
