Happydaze - you are incorrect in your negative comparison between this time round and the first drill. If you look at the chart, there were at least 3 consolidations during the previous rise to 28p. The shortest of these was 1 week, and the longest was in fact 7 weeks in duration. One might also point out that the strongest moves up in 2021 came later in that trend.

Of course the circumstances are different, and so will be the consolidations this time round, but this is the first consolidation, and if comparisons are being made, then its very much also possible to make that a positive/bullish comparison so far, in that we are in the first consolidation in a nascent uptrend. All imo

Thanks Daniel and apologies. I must have missed your response first time round, or forgotten it this time round. By way of explanation, I was going through GCAT RNS earlier (and not for the first time) trying to track and audit the situation with debt payments and financing, and came across the Mill End ones again. I couldn't see any RNS confirmation since that the payments had been made and that prompted me to ask - not knowing or remembering the earlier thread.

As it happens, if they have confirmed it by tweet, I won't question or doubt that, so long as it is all confirmed in future RNS.

I'd say the situation here is finely balanced. It's a case of whether there will be share price moving news before the next dilution hits for me. The previous two raises have been February (£500k) and June (£360k). Therefore, it wouldn't surprise me if the next one lands in October Of course, "IF" it is forward sold (not saying it is or will be) then the impact will be felt much sooner.

Therefore, the DFS (and/or other share price moving news) needs to be released sooner rather than later imo. The later it is, the more the risk of it being followed shortly after by a placing, or hitting the forward selling of any placing. Having said this, if financing and offtake is coming in the next 6 months, then none of the above really matters.

But its worth people thinking through all of the possibilities and likelihoods, rather than being surprised by them and then moaning afterwards. All imo and dyor

I was thinking more swing trading over days and weeks, where you don't necessarily need to watch them all the time, and even then, you'll have stops and profit taking orders in place, just in case. I'm aware of the point about dollar/sterling. I guess that becomes an issue if the GPB/USD rate moves significantly against you whilst you are in the trade.

Anybody here trade US stocks? I'm curious to know more as I am interested in doing so. Only had the occasional dabble but that was not intentional, but only because I happened to have invested in dual listed stocks at that time.

I'm expecting it to go in August, just before or on confirmation of September drilling. Last update was a few weeks ago now, where AJ spoke about sorting out access, and a local drilling team, and that all this work was going well. So we are due an update about Hurricane and confirmation of Sept drilling. Share price will continue to rise in August and into September for the drill. It will then depend on the results of course.

That's just my expectation and anticipation here. Let's see where we close July and what August brings. GLA

Whilst some grievances aired on BB are perfectly legitimate, genuine and sincere, we all know that ramping and de-ramping goes on as well. And that these posters will often latch onto the positive or negative points being made by the genuine posters, to further their own agenda. It happens all the time!

Definitely one to consider. I made the point earlier about the mismatch between its current price of 0.6p and the financing of £6 million currently being completed at 1p. This very point was highlighted by the CEO himself in this week's LSE webinar, and he also reiterated that the financing is still going ahead at 1p (link below). I think the gap between the current price and the price being paid by the investors will continue to close, and can see the trades coming through in recent days in anticipation of the financing newsflow starting to come through next month. I used that term loosely to mean the Kilimapesa mine, or more accurately, the subsidiary that legally owns it.

We had a consolidation leg even during Tai 1 drilling. 10p was always a likely big profit taking level for many, and that is what we have seen. Now that they have been (mostly) cleared, the share price can start to rise again without the same volume of sellers in its way. Therefore, not sure its a case of being baffled, but more the laws of 'share price physics' at play?

Lots of folk saying the bigger the consolidation, the bigger the ensuing move up. Let's see if that now plays out. Hopefully it will. GLA

Well, you better hope this financing comes through. Because at the moment, the only sure thing you have, is a great big mountainous pile of cheap shares/selling overhang to clear, no Prospectus, and hence no certainty about whether and when the dilution might end (with company only recently raising the paltry sum of £350k through dilution again) and with creditors that have security over the goods.

Given the history and the overall situation, doesn't sound that far off roulette to me?

I've only just seen today's price action. Looks very much like the consolidation is now over (for now), and we are primed for a retest of 10p. It would be fantastic to close this week, and the month of July, in double figures. We can then look forward to another strong up move in August. Of course, anything can happen, so let's see if we can close above 10p first. GLA

Yes, keeping talking anti BT nonsense whilst others are buying under the hood here. Most of today's trades have been buys reported as sells imo. I know because I have been running dummy buy and sells. Also, it's not easy to buy large volumes of KAV stock at these cheap prices, without raising the price. At one stage today, for example, I got a quote of 0.77p to buy £10k. So it all has to be done under the hood, breaking the buys into smaller chunks. And imo that's what we are seeing and will continue to see in the coming days, as those that can see what's coming start to accumulate these bargain basement level shares in bite size chunks.

Of course, you need to have some de-ramping to go alongside this, and anti BT rhetoric seems to be the chosen de-ramp. But not got much time left though to deploy such tactics, as bid will tick up soon enough, as these 0.6p shares continue to get accumulated. All imo and dyor
