I agreed Deep - neither He1 nor Noble have been in any hurry, which tells you all you need to know. Nor have any majors come in and JV'd. So basically worth a swing trade, but not much more. But only after the placing.

I think I will wait for the deal and see the terms now. I don't think it will be the binding commitment we are all expecting, but will likely only guarantee a few million quid to get to a DFS and then a FID decision. So more uncertainty and waiting rather than de-risking production. Not uncommon for deals to be structured in this way.

HEX is rising in anticipation of its scoping study to be released by end of June. Then it will be onto the appraisal drill in August/Sept. I think most folk are moving across over there as it's trending like He1 did at the same point a few years ago before Tai 1. Many will likely return return here with their HEX profits, but only after the placing and EWT are announced. Seems the smart trading sequence, especially as this is falling and providing no incentive not to move across and then come back here after its placing is done and sentiment can start to return. All imo and dyor

I think folk are buying ahead of this scoping study, expected any week now. That could blow the roof off here.

I agree Older and its what I thought on reading it. The classic ole non binding MOU being pulled out by an AIM share. Didn't think MR would resort to it. Have you noticed how these announcements rarely contain any ceremonial comment from the other party. Desperate stuff in some ways. Definitely not going to be a share price mover.

This needs the DFS completing and then some binding offtake and funding deals to come through. Only then will it re-rate. Non binding RNS aint going to cut the mustard. They will give you short lived spikes but that's about it. Need this DFS done and dusted and then hope all the groundwork is being prepared for the binding deals to quickly come through. HEX is looking like it will host this year's summer party on AIM. I would not be surprised at all to see it hit 40p pre drill as its moved quick and fast. I think most of the big and early sellers got out at 11p and around 21p.

The issue now becomes on of money imo. Will OMI now be able to afford to go straight into Pepas drilling, or will a raise be required first. That has to be depend on how long it takes to finalise the deal, and then sort out permitting etc. August would seem like the earliest they can get drilling, which should be early enough to fund from existing budget and then raise at higher levels, but the longer it takes, the more chance there is of having to do it the other way round.

Because this is BG's mess in terms of overcooking it, the onus is on him to come out and say fully funded. All imo

It all now depends on how long the wait is going to be. I agree with PFG that the whole exclusivity stuff was non sensical at the point that the LB Group were no longer interested and hence in the race, which was last year. Why they lost interest, or if there interest was ever genuine, who knows. Now its ended up with the chair of another company being king maker here and pulling the strings by the looks of it.

Wouldn't be surprised to see drop this test 3.5p. Liquidity isn't great at times like this so it doesn't take much selling to drop it. As I say, it all depends on how long the wait is now.

What would be wrong with a JV with Sandfire? KAV have huge ground at the KCB with a number of prospects, and so bringing in Sandfire, with their local expertise and money would be a great move. It also frees KAV up to focus on Zim. Share price would rocket on such news imo.

Close at a new high this afternoon and then continue to break to new highs in the coming days and weeks!

I've joined him and have been adding into this pullback. Wanted to get in before KCB drilling starts later this month. We will then have 3 Rigs on the ground, 2 at the KCB and one in Zim. Could be the best 3-6 months that KAV have ever had in terms of newsflow and results on the ground. I certainly hope so. GLA

I should have added more. Think it will do well over the next few weeks as its got the low ball placing done, and is expecting some positive news on 10 July.

True but getting to the point where RM should give an update of sorts though, even a dry ' we are still waiting on the audit and have had comms with PKF' type of update. That might allay concerns and speculation. Wasn't he active on Telegram at one point. He must surely appreciate the importance of this and show some regard for his long suffering shareholders. All imho

Hope He1 announces a delay. I want to finish the HEX party, before the He1 party starts again, although it's inevitable that they are going to cross over as both looking at Q3.

Not followed Noble, but when are they doing their appraisal. They raised money for appraisal at the start of the year and don't seem to be in a hurry after ramping all of last year.
