Unfortunately, "great companies don't always make great investments" and "great investments don't always come from great companies". It doesn't matter how good a company is or looks on paper based on its fundamentals. If the market doesn't care or doesn't appreciate those fundamentals, meaning the share price isn't going to deliver you returns because of that, then should you not factor that into your thesis? There's also the opportunity cost of holding something that simply isn't delivering share price growth year after year, but only the occasional move, which is then sold back down, which is what has been happening with POW.
How long have most of us held POW and what share price growth have we seen in that time? Would we not have been better off investing that money elsewhere and then coming back here only if or when there are signs that the dummies on AIM are seeing the value that people like Tray are seeing, and reflecting that in the share price through their buying in response to that value? Isn't the whole point of investing to actually get some returns within a REASONABLE period of time. They do say that time is also money in the markets. Sadly, the months of no returns here have turned into years for LTH. And even for more recent entrants, that re-rate looks like it's also some way off right now. Spent a lot of money, time and hope on Molopo only to end up without a discovery, and needing a JV to continue the project. All imo and dyor
