RE: My thoughts2 Jul 2025 19:01
I can't see why GEX won't get the drilling approval, assuming they complete all the necessary works satisfactorily. I think it will come through, but it might take a short while yet. The only real issue at this stage is whether they have enough cash to re-enter Hussar once the approval comes through. The AFR is very clear in stating that they had £1.2 million in January 2025, "following" the £5 million raised in Summer 2024. I can't find anywhere in the AFR that money has been ring fenced for the re-entry of Hussar from existing funds. If someone wants to point that out, happy to be corrected.
Not de-ramping this at all - it's all in the AFR.
There is no point in anyone trying to de-ramp this by talking up a placing whilst its suspended. Because at any time before it resumes trading, Hamilton can easily come out and say "wrong, no placing needed, all fully funded". He hasn't, to my knowledge, said "fully funded" in a long time.
I believe GEX will cite the delays that have happened (6 months and counting) and the extra work caused by adverse weather and DEMIRS to justify a placing. But let's see what happens. All imo and dyor
