Why would they issue one if they were not going to pay one and be very specific too. The P and L account is in loss so no dividend other than something like a special one i.e profit on large asset sale could be paid in the foreseeable future on current operations.

Always remember we were approached to sell, not the other way round. The BOD will NOT sell this cheap.... talk of 50p Divi is totally unrealistic imo in view of the fact DS did state they would not give it away.

If the Divi payout is 50p I personally would have thought it would have been better to trigger the sinosteel contract and get mining ourselves. The value we have insitu of 100 billion plus surely warrants a much better Divi than that or what's the point of selling do cheap??

It's telling you it's a special dividend after sale of asset costs. It will be for approval at a general meeting.

I don't think any of us truly knows the enormity of it all till it all unfolds. It's obvious much has been going on this last year or so. It seems the final chapter is now being written and we will all be able to read the end soon i think.

A non executive director has all the responsibilities of a director but may or may not vote at meetings depending on the M and A of the company.

The one thing that sticks out like a sore thumb in the last RNS is " Mr. Kosaka's appointment is PART of the execution of our strategy as previously announced. Just cant wait to find out what part he has to play. All will be revealed soon imo.
