GFIN has stalled following false hopes of take over. Ithink GILD and Gfin are good investments if you are in now.
HL been fine since yesterday morning
A bullish and most positive interview. I have had to listen to it a few times now - to be sure I'm hearing things right and understanding the messages correctly. I think others may benefit from doing just that! I stand by what I have said before - the JV will be early next year not this. Next news will be Bailieston drill reports which I expect will be drip fed over the period. All good news.
I expect a post IPO dip so waiting a week or two.
TS you are spot on. It is not only Newmont doing DD. Anyone waiting with baited breath on a JV completion this year should take the advice often given on here - DYOR. From mine it is highly unlikely that a deal will be announced this year - 6 or 8 weeks into the New Year maybe.....
Good response Gino. I think you are optimistic ( don't hear that often!) of a JV before Xmas. I think it will come but more likely in January or February - I think there will be further negotiation and 'i' dotting after the DD which as you say will take the next few weeks to complete.
There is nothing NEW in this rNs. Perhaps why LSE have not even bothered posting it ! I don't take the RNS as negative though, perhaps its a precursor to one to follow "in the near term as our operational activities continue" that will be menaingful and may even impact the SP
Point 2 of the 10 point Green Plan
Hydrogen: Have five gigawatts of "low carbon" hydrogen production capacity by 2030 - for industry, transport, power and homes - and develop the first town heated by the gas by the end of the decade.
TAKEN FROM THE BBC NEWS CHANNEL THIS MORNING in an article on the GVts. Green Plan.....
"Clean hydrogen will be blended into the natural gas supply to reduce overall emissions from gas, and the government wants a town to volunteer for a trial of 100% hydrogen for heat, industry and cooking.
The hydrogen - attracting a subsidy of up to £500m - will be produced in places such as north-east England, partly by energy from offshore wind. The government wants to breathe new life into de-industrialised areas by teaming hydrogen production with the manufacture of wind turbines, and with four clusters of firms using carbon capture and storage."
Funded for at least a year.
warrant holders cleared in the main
ECR own their own diamond drill for use initially at Bailieston
One or more potential JV partners for Creswick are in the process of DD on site when Covid restrictions ease (imminent). One potential partner is Newmont but there are also others. I think any JV announcement/agreement is likley in the new year and unlikely before. Worth looking at Craig Browns historic interviews for and insight and of course DY.....
"Has the BOD died of date??? I`m very grateful in the way they are working but I would like if they could keep us in the loop more,"
Active on Twitter but all recycled news. I assume that there is simply nothing to report yet on Bailieston drilling.
" also I have this feeling we wont get the JV until next year it would be super if we could get it before then!!!"
It would be super but we won't. It will be super when it comes though.
SP steadily rising (bit of a blip today) 2nd interim announced. It's all looking good.
This isn't going to fly the minute travel restrictions are lifted. Don't get excited only to end up bitter and dissappointed. ECR will certainly fly but the JV agreement will still be some way off, weeks probably months, after restrictions are lifted. DYOR
The head of MHRA made it pretty clear in the briefing today that she (they) will not be influenced by government and that they are prepared to work as fast as they can but will not compromise quality or safety. that along with the fact that van Dam stated - Pfizer are only able to produce 50 million doese this caledar year - and that is for the whole world - means that any vaccination in the UK in 2020 is highly unlikely.
