Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
The constant comparison with GGP on this BB is neither helpful nor valid. The key differences between ECR and GGP have been made over and over.
Jack "The point CB makes over and over again is he doesn't have to rush into a JV unless it's a good one for the company: ECR has got a drill and it's got the funds to be choosy about a JV and to buy more drills if he wants to."
Correct, and that's the what we should focus on.
I agree. A welcome RNS. Pleased I stayed put.
TS yes you are correct. I believe prospect has move a lot further forward. In this interview I was struck by the singular term 'a' used at about 8m in re visit and then when he was pushed and clearly not comfortable (10m in) he mentioned 'one' site visit again (also stated they were WA Aus based). I sense there are advanced negotiations with one prospective partner and those negotiations are at a crtical point.
Craig tried to avoid the Creswick JV discussion delfecting to Bailieston and then when pushed what I gleaned ( prerhaps reading between the lines) was
There has been ONE site visit and DD since restrictions eased ,it was positive and ongoing.
Any offer will have to meet CBs expectations. The bar is high.
Should this one not conclude there are others in line.
He indicated that if no satisfactory offer came forward Midas would eventually be at Creswick to prove furrther and as a result the bar would be even higher. ( A message to the current contender?)
I agree with TS's view on possible timings.
Although on this board Newmont is regularly mentioned I've heard views elsewhere that Newmont is not the 'one'. I can't find anything concrete to support either view.
I remain of the opinion we will get Bailieston drilling results/update news before JV news.

This is so frustrating! i've been waiting for ISA funds to be transferred from one account to another giving me a nice wad to invest. It is taking an age ( requested on 25th November) meanwhile I might miss a nice top up opportunity. Come on SL release that cash!!!!
I saw this article it's the first I knew of Hipgnosis ( Neil Young fan and PI but not in this sector). Have done some research this morning, SONG on my watchlist now.

Levi - in this sector warrants go with the territory, you have to just accept it and be aware of impact. There are warrant free opportunities focussed on only building shareholder value in other sectors. To be fair that's not for this BB though.
