Good morning all. Update after yesterday's failed forex trade. Faraday forex. First loser. I was lucky and got one short profitable trade after which it was only longs. I don't like their stops. They are too far away from entry. I follow the chart and 2 ema's that's how I got my short trade see chart below. However, the main reason for showing that chart is to illustrate the effectiveness of candlesticks and the 2 ema’s. See the very nice beautiful long and very nice beautiful short between 4 am and 9 am yesterday morning for insomniacs. Approximately 45 pips up and 60 pips down. It again illustrates SB’s advice ‘as long as price closes above the T line one can stay long , or below the T line one can stay short. If price closes or crosses below or above the 3 ema after an extended run or too far away from the T line for long or short trades take profit respectively. If trend continues one can always buy back in’. The fact price had just fallen by 60 pips at 9 a.m. I questioned Farraday’s text to sell so waited and only by luck managed to get the one reasonable short. As I was tied up for the rest of the day I did not monitor or trade the pair which was lucky for me. This brings into question whether one needs the Faraday’s of this world as we have Stephen Bigalow, candlestick charts and the Tline and the 3 ema. It’s just a case of being patient and maybe just concentrating on one forex pair. I use EUR/USD, as spread is 1 or even 0.8 and one gets used to how it behaves. Notice also that during the long trend Stochastic would have taken one out early at approximately 20 pips in the trend and may have kept one out for the other 25. Similar story for the short. In fact it was in the oversold area for the vast majority of the 60 pip trade. I have also taken a snap shot of the day's trading. See how more accurate the 2 ema's are compared with stochastic and may have kept one out of following Faraday. FARADAY CLOSED 6923.6 FOR 2K PROFIT earlier as I have accountancy work to get on with and can't keep monitoring it but Faraday not yet advised to close GLA.

gOOD morning AdJshares. Just closed out Tesco @169.05 on basis of price gapped up way beyond T line, 3ema crossed on 1 minute chart and profit taking may come in . May buy back in if it chart indicates but will not chase if it goes higher. Happy with my 2k gain.Good luck investing/ trading always.

Good morning camkite. We beg to disagree and you should continue with whatever strategy works for you. However, do give the webinar a watch, only one hour. It may add to your existing tool box/strategy to fine tune entries and exits after you have carried out your fundamental research. It works on any market and a prime example can be seen of the principles involved in the USD/CHF chart just posted. Good luck investing/trading always.

Good morning NFL Please see chart for forex pair USD/CHF from Tuesday's trade as recommended by Faraday. However, please see a beautiful example of a long trade using candlesticks the Tline and the 3ema between mid October and end of December. 682 beautiful pips. Look at Stochastics. All over the place and I dare say perhaps RSI. SB uses stoch but I always used RSI as I found it more reliable and could get one in and out earlier but now I only rely on the 2 ema's reinforced if stoch confirms also. Getting back to Faraday I am receiving forex tips for the next 17 days. The first 3 have all been profitable the last 2 60 pips each. Faraday Forex. Not bad another 60 odd pips profitable trade. I'm still happy I didn't wait and took 45 pips from 2 trades yesterday. Bird in the hand. That's 3 out of 3 winning trades so far but get braced for a loser as there WILL be one. Just watch your stop loss and the 2 ema's. dollar chart 3. For traders who cannot day trade look at the monthly chart. Between mid Oct and end of November look at that sweet 682 pip long trade. Stochastics during that period is all over the place but in accordance with Steve Bigalow's advice as long as price closes above the T line it is safe to stay long. Beautiful example.

gOOD evening AdJshares. Thanks for the tip on Tesco. Have tightened the stop loss so if hit will still be in profit although I recall last year bad results resulted in an initial price rise before price fell Closed my forex trade a short while ago for 4.5k gain. No word from Faraday though. I'd rather have a bird in the Strand. I remember last year their stop loss only just got hit before it turned and ended in good profit but I was left with a 4.5k loss which should have been a winner. Will try and sort out the charts for posting.

Just checked my bet all losers except good ole Harry saved the day yet again and at 16/1 to boot. Thanks Harry. I'M HARRY came 3rd @ 14/1 but only did it to win

LATEST NZD/$ This has been trading sideways between 6510 and 6570 approx since 10 Jan AFTER a bear run . If it continues its bear run and breaks 6510 the number of pips could be huge down to 6400 even 6300. Faraday usually cut their profits early, bird in the strand syndrome and following Lord Rothschild's family's secret of wealth of selling too soon. DYOR GLA.

rARADAY TEXT JUST CAME THROUGH SELL NZD/USD AT 0.6550 STOP LOSS AT 0.6610 THAT'S 40 PIPS BUT i THINK THAT'S TOO MUCH. I use candlesticks and the 2 ema's to judge whether I take the trade and use them for my entry point and determine my stop loss which I AM GOING TO DO NOW.

Apologies about the charts still trying to work out how to post them without giving you access to my folder. Hve done it once in previous post. Busy right now will try again this evening but the one chart that has worked is sufficient to illustrate the points made GLA.
