RE: CHARTS -T LINE TIPS21 Sep 2016 00:35
Good evening liam124. Welcome on board the Tline train. Apologies for not replying to your post earlier but I've spent the day showing an accountant colleague the finer points of the T line and candlestick trading.
I'm glad you have experienced a reasonable amount of success so far BUT please remember there will be false starts as it is not infallible and is dependent on your style of trading. My success rate is about 70 percent.
With spread betting be careful with your bet size. There is much more to it than just the T line and above all cut losses short. As for letting profits run it is a very useful tool. You need to learn money management, risk/reward, set target profit limits and stop losses AND STICK TO THEM.
Use a demo to practice on any chart in any time frame by overlaying the candlestick chart with the 3 ema's set at 3, 8 and 54 to see how effective they can be in any time frame and any stock, indice, forex commodity.
As for platform open an IG account live and demo as the charting facility is far superior to most.
I recommend that you watch the 1 hour video which will explain far better than I can the rationale behind the T line. The link can be found in the 3rd blogg at the beginning of this thread on page 1. Also read my very first blogg which explains the ethos of this thread.
THE 2 EMA'S are best used for reversal trades or in the case of AIM shares one's that are flatlining and just in their infancy of spiking.
As the poster AIMEXPERTRADER says AIM is for HIT AND RUN. Get in as early as possible get out sooner rather than later otherwise those paper profits can disappear as quickly as they are made. eg my waiting for that last RNS which cost me 6k on 88e. Also, DO NOT GET ATTACHED TO A SHARE. It is only there to make money in the here and now, not for what may or may not happen in 2 to 3 years time. There are countless opportunities out there everyday where one can earn a decent wedge rather than rainbow chasing.
This is an altogether friendlier chat board where everyone is out to help each other and no one will be ridiculed or suffer personal abuse.
Check back through some of the posts for other educational videos and seminars
If you are impressed with the T line perhaps you can let the 88e board know?
Good luck investing
