Final EUR/USD STRADDLE CHART below and my journal notes for range trade taken Friday afternoon which gave me £1.3k profit in 40 mins. The non farm payrolls/ news straddle strategy is based on the presumption that price will return to where it was in the short term, i.e. same day . It clearly has not so best to close it especially if one does not have the time to stick with it. GLITA

I too had Cosmic Tigress at 14/1 my favorite price but with standard 1 point bet but would have used it for bringing my recovery of all previous losing bets staking plan on your long shots to not only win 140 quid but recover all previous losing stakes on them. I also had 8/1 winner on BRIO CONTE but then did what I usually do and gave it all back. will continue with your long shots until your next winner then have a break until Aintree where I will follow the wife and forget my own selections and double up the stakes. WORST Cheltenham for me. Only 2 winners Altior, didn't back him as a single but had nothing to go with him in win doubles, and Defi Du Seuil. same story. As for the wife who does each way she has put me to shame. A big price winner on each of the days she had a bet, 18/1, 20/1 and now to cap it all a 25/1 and a 40/1 place on Wednesday and a couple of other places. So fed up I decided to do a forex trade around 3pm this afternoon and made £1.3k in about 40 minutes so not so fed up now. fed interest straddle update. I did not trade it but for those that did here is my take on when it does not go to plan. Once has a choice. Close out both trades having made a modicum of net profit or stick with it. The latter will be time consuming and costly as you will be charged interest for rolling over the positions which could eat into any net profit achieved and there could be slippage of closing and re-entering each time until it plays out. The most important aspect is to have both a long and short in place before any future major news items or when one is not screen watching for price reversals as stop losses are not used. If one is still persevering see chart below. AUTO CHART is predicting short term retracement to 10707 support.
