wELL the 33/1 daisy came third and the other daisy at 14/1 came 4th. Good morning all. dDidn't get back from hospital appointment at 12 until gone 6pm so missed all the racing. Black Friday for the wife too, although she had picked lalor initially but went for posted selection in the end instead and limited bets to 1 horse per race otherwise she would have kept her 100 per cent record and at her best price of 33/1. Oh well! Did disconcerted's evening tips. It's hard when doing win only when they get placed at those juicy odds but overall it does seem better to do win rather than ew with consistent winners. If doing the odd long shot then maybe ew is better especially with some bookies paying up to 5/6 places. betfair only do max 4 places. will post the wife's selections later. I didn't post any of mine yesterday as I didn't like the cards and most fancies were low odds and none won, only a couple of placed nags including the Oscar horse in the last race at 18/1. Very profitable day for the wife's selections,she actually got a double. and thanks Harry i got 25/1 for your winner. I was too busy willing the old timer on at 50/1 I didn't realise you had given me the winner at that rather tasty price. Also had the two roses as fun name bets, win only at my favorite price. should have done a reverse forecast but who would have thought? missed the race but just watched it.Just love front runners.
