good morning Olderwiiser
thhank you for yoour info. thhe 2 mmarketts are closely allignned most of the time. i tend tto believe quuitte a llotg goot washhed oouut at 1.2p resisttance anfd more whhenpriice ithit 1.48p . hoow much who knoowws. vollume is noo guiide as iit dooes noot distinguiish buuyys from sells and thhe lse buuyys/sells is guesswork so poinntlless monitoorriing them.
peeps who boughht at0. 6/0.7p will be ttempted to sselll at 1.2 aannd 1.4 for a 2 bagger in 3 months so priice may trread water foor a whille or dropp back as it did at 1..2p
whats the ssaying?
buy the dip
gla
With respect Goody88 you and the 2 posters who recommended your post are under the misconception that price is rising with volume.
it is the other way round
price increase can result in increased volume of shares traded. volume consists of BOTH buyers and sellers. those profeesssional investors who took uup the placement in sept at £0.007p are looking at a 2 baaggerr in just 3 months hence todays volume wwhich is no great sshakes would have included some of them happy with 100% gain in 3 montths hence dip in price after 2.30pm. professsdional investors use charts and would be well aware of the fibonacci resistance at 1.45 sooooooooooo good time to lock in a 100% gain.
5 yr chart below.
please explain using your ****eyed ttheory why price rose from 1.6p on the 4 july 2016 to 3.8p on the 22 aug 2016 on urinne poor volumes and why price fell from 4.2p on 19 june 2017 to 2.75p on4 july 2017 again on urrinne poor volume.
notice the gap down from 2.75 to 1.95 on the 10 july caused panic selling swelling volume to a deceent 200m.
soooooooo chaarting of volumes is not a valuable indiccator with 2exceptions.
when everyone else is buying eg the herd, time to sell and when everyone else is ssellinng timme buy amply illuustrated in tthe chart as well.
price rose to 4.2 with 800m traded and rose from 1.38 to 2.8 after 200m ssold

on IG'SS better charting facility which i can no longerr post here sso have to rely on barchaart
thhe only time frames which showed aclose beloiw the ema3 were the 3 hr and lower downe to 1 minute. these are ussedd for day trading so can be ignored for now even tthough price is too far ahead of TThhe TLINE but will monitor the 4hr and daily to see if priccce has stalled at resistance 1.45p
dont forget there are still professional investors from thhe placement still tied up in svc to wash out. i believe their shares are to be ffrreedd to trrade sometime in january but open to correction.
volume still urine poor but who carres a jot
volume consisttts of buyerrs AND asellers so means absolutely nothing exccept big increases indicate herd arrivinng wwith a rising price or paniic selling with a ggap down on bad nnews.
neither present at the mo.
what matters to the vaalue of your investmeent is ppriice action whicch is wwhy charts are used to monitor price's performance.

For chartists
Looking really good
Price closing above the TLINE on all time charts from daily up to 20yr= safe to stay in uptrend with 1 caveat
3mth, 6 and 12 mth price is too far ahead of T LINE. I use price close below EMA3 as early warning to CONSIDER locking in all or part of one’s paper profit before it evaporates, especially if price is at or near support/resistance too.
takes all the emotion out of the decision to sell especially GREED, the vice , the bane of my life on this bb recently admitted to when not selling at 4pish 3.8pish and latterly 2.8pish
Thankfully for now no close below EMA3 on all 3 charts=strong uptrend
Click Barchart opinion =88% buy,
Ramp ramp
but beware lagging indicator not reliable
Ema3 and T LINE are lagging indicators so won’t get one out at the very top or in at the very bottom but fairly close and NOT INFALLIBLE.
sooooooooooo forget about filling gaps, wedges questionable trend lines etc

Good morning dazzle,
as a fellow chartist some of the patterns identified including gaps to be filled are quite frankly mumbo jumbo imho, especially IG's daily forex pairs pattern identifications.
keep it simple, support/resistence especially fibonacci.
3 lagging indicators ema3, 8, 54. ema8 = T LINE so called trigger line for entry/exit

3 Simple rules to follow
forget volume - tthe recennt rise is on urine ppoor volume but may incrrease when the hherd arrive after seeing the price rise. brom and guzzler like volume but i can illustrate a plethora of examples not just aim but ftse shares too that volume does not drive price , price drives volume.

forgot T LINE chart red liine on chart aand 3 basiic rules
1 safe to stay inn uptrend if price clooses above T LIINE
2 do not buy top up or average down while price iss in aa downttrennd and closess below the T LINE.
3 One ccaveat if price too far ahead of T LINE consider loocking in all or paart of your paper profit before it evapourates into thin air if in an uptrend or consider buyingg if in a downtrend.
not infallible.
1 mnth chart below illustratees rules 2 and 3.. the latter a buyingg opportunity at 11.8 and betweenn 7 to 8p
