Yep and apart from what we have been told just look at what Avacta have been up to:

1. Recruiting IVD specialists including from the chap from Omega.
2. Increasing lab space
3. Increasing protein production facilities
4. Recruiting production scientists with experience in large scale protein production and expression.
5. Moving key staff away from animal health towards the diagnostics division, Marketing manager, Operations Director, quality manager etc
6. Registering and sharing the trademarked name of the test in the last RNS.
7. Bringing on board a very high profile PR agency with global reach

I could go on but they don't sound like a company that are nervous at all and are gearing up for the launch of the test. Also, driving the cancer therapeutics into the clinic is going to be very capital intensive so they will want to preserve as much cash as possible. The fact they are clearly investing very heavily in the diagnostics division speaks volumes to me.

I think Al has basically told us they are heavily involved in what capacity he can. Just read the statements he has made in the September presentation, share buyers interview and various interviews and RNS's. Even David Wilson has confirmed they are central to the Governments plans in the Labroots webinar.

Avacta employees and fellow directors can read all all these statements just like we can and Al would be a laughing stock if it was all "pie in the sky" especially after offloading some of his shares. Just look at what he said below:

Nice to see the employees exercising share options and as a shareholder I'm very happy that Avacta has put this scheme in place for its very hard working scientists.

You can see all the shares issued with price paid below. Not sure if there's much in there we don't know already, but the price paid does vary quite a bit for different issues.

Senior Assay Scientist Role:
• Acting as the customer-facing technical lead for both internal and external projects.
• You will be expected to carry out experiments to characterise proteins as well as optimising and validating a range of in vitro assays (such as ELISA, cell-binding assays).

Additional responsibilities include to:
• Perform routine molecular techniques for QC of targets prior to phage display.
• Design, develop and validate assays including ELISA, agglutination assays, LFD assays, cell binding and cell-based activity assays for protein characterisation.

Your Background:
• Degree qualified in either MSc or PhD with industry experience within the Biotechnology/Life Science sector.

We are are all expecting ABDX, ODX, BBI etc to be heavily involved in manufacturing the sovereign test. However, could it be that PA will seek the help of the partners they used for the ventilator challenge.

Could Rolls Royce manufacture LFD's for example?
