Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
Maid,
The strike price was what the CAG had asked for previously, I don’t know if that is still a request at this stage but in my personal head space I had 4p as the point in time where things took a worse turn with the re-strike at 2.6 and subsequent drop(s)
From my opinion anything below the 4p as the new starting line with a level playing field is poor.
Going to be a fun week at least, and the end of the week will determine the direction of the company and the legal action no doubt
Lagueule.
I made that binary choice last week, and doubled my share holding because reality is that was not a lot of capital now, so if result is not ideal I lose a few but if it goes ok then I can sell them new shares for some
Immediate capital gain and focus on the remainder going through legal process.
That certainly not advice juts what I have done as when I purchased last week I assumed I would be able to sell for more this week as it will be a yo-yo if I wanted to pull out the extra small amount lol
Maidit, that’s the issue with COPL currently. This week will be up and down like a yoyo because if your not someone who knows (and they should not be able to trade lol) then this week will be a traders/gamblers paradise.
Ok understood Fin, so basically the core have enough clout at this stage to convince the relevant players it’s worthy of considering SHs, and then if nothing of note happens the class action opens up to the wider % holding to help make the case viable on the no win no fee basis?
Stas20, and that is why I am happy and resigned to action because I don’t believe a turnaround will be big enough to forget about what’s gone on.
If anyone thinks getting back to 0.5p will make me happy they are mistaken, and even that’s a significant jump
Thanks for detailed emotional analysis Angus.
Look you sold out yesterday for about 40% less than you could today so live with it l.
Once you make a decision own it and move on.
You might end up right as every chance of that but now move on as you have made your decision
There is more than enough reading between the lines on this share going on.
It’s like the extremes of opinion based on people’s positions, losses, and or trading outlook.
With the company where it is I made my call and just waiting for it to play out to go to the next stage.
People have been saying questioning the 2 wells for a while.
My take is they can’t be producing or COPL would see the revenue and we are not so if they are producing where is the income?
It’s like the Wild West in here tonight
Rodney, certainly on face value an option and if that was tied in with a new funding raise / mechanism to provide say £5-£10m for getting injection moving in the right direction it would be a solution.
Markets would act well to it for sure especially if the raise/funding was at a higher level with some future performance perks thrown in for the funder(s) to significantly benefit but at a higher level.
I do think that would be a carlsberg RNS but won’t be long to find out either way.
Yes, I believe that one side has to give way more than the other and in that type of negotiation “normally” one of 2 things happen.
The other side with “potentially” a stronger hand pushes for too much and emotions get involved on the weaker hand side and don’t accept even if accepting is better
Or weaker position doubles down and believes by them doing this gives a stronger position, but that rarely works.
Obviously needs middle ground to be found but my personal opinion is that is tricky
This is not my area of expertise in terms of the financial subject but have negotiated on sides of weakness and strength and typically it’s much easier when a comparable position of strength is present.
Happy to be wrong but let’s see.
TAI, the turn around required to forgive and forget would be too much and based on the fact we are here now with no solution speaks volumes on what peoples appetite is to resolve.
My assumption is tomorrow we get a “could not agree” statement and company apply for protection to kick the can more.
Hopefully I am wrong but appears no appetite to resolve as resolution would need to be too extreme on one side.
Let’s get it over with and deliver the class action and start prepping for the years of process which hopefully ends in decision makers in some interesting conversations.
Same reason they seemed to want a lower vwap everytime they went to convert (although I guess it could be just fluke the price always dropped prior to a VWAP interest conversation) rather than a higher one. More Shares.
Almost irrelevant is it not?
The only people to benefit from no JV was the BH as they got the ability to convert all bonds at a ridiculously stupid valuation and effectively from that date could take the company.
The better question is why would anyone not be furious?
Between everyone helping in the SAG I get the impression there is a lot of known information that supports a case hence what is happening.
RBM , you are correct on strength of feeling as I would never consider action but this performance has appalled me beyond belief.
I b an 100% behind your group and the actions in hand but so annoyed that if it never happened I would be likely to go alone, and happily commit funds and time needed
Appreciate the confirmation RBM, can I check that all parties are aware the class action is coming unless a dramatic solution was found between SH’s, summit and BH, where I assume everyone understands which of them 3 parties needs to be flexible.
If your getting 1000 bopd and it’s costing you 1200bopd to keep running then the 1000bopd out of the ground is irrelevant.
Hence the reason their is significant discord from us all, class action underway, and constant talk of why did they not do what they said which was to inject more gas as that directly improves the bopd out of the ground and by now COPL would be self sufficient.
