Like this wise man says, the time to buy is when stocks are out of favour, Gold stocks are poised for a resurgence, MTL is more so than ever, I like the point that we have averaged $1803 in 2021 which is higher than the average of 2020, miners are having a great time and yet the shareprice doesn’t know it, that’s absolutely MTL in a sentence.

The $2000 dollar gold period was brief and in reality only compensated for the lost production caused by the Covid restrictions, so it didn’t supercharge us or any other gold mine, but $1700 dollar gold is solid and if it wasn’t for the brief $2000 gold we would be celebrating $1700 instead of seeing it as a disappointment, $1700 dollar gold is enough to get us debt free in 10 quarterly payments, that’s the goal.
If you was to pay £165k today for a modest property, and someone told you in 2 and half years time it would be worth £1 million and was paying you £100k rent every year going forward, you would be jumping at the opportunity, well, MTL has that capability, £165k at 1.65p is 10million shares, debt free in 2.5 years we will be a minimum of 10p a share, paying a 1p dividend, that’s £1 million share value and £100k dividend every year after, all from £165k investment.
So why is buying shares and holding them any different to buying a property? It’s a medium term investment that will produce the real value, but having the ability to sell on a negative emotion costs you in the end, there are literally millions of shares given away every day, impatience? lack of understanding? lack of belief? Who knows? but we really are in an amazing position, and 1.65p a share is seriously discounting our real value.

Welcome Sagacity, I personally believe the debts will be cleared in around 2..5 years if gold remains at these levels, I imagine the dividend will start as soon as the debts are cleared, 50% of profits after costs and tax would be generous, POLY is an established Gold mining company and are paying such an amount, I would imagine a minimum of 1p per share, and a share price of 10 to 15p would be fair, assuming we continue proving up our land bank to extend the life of mine past the 6 to 7 years remaining today, MTL are running at 80% efficiency as of Q4 2020, so we still have room to improve, so costs should reduce and gold recoveries increase, of course gold values may change dramatically over the next few years, and that would effect the 2.5 years to repay for better or worse, although we certainly can’t default as it’s agreed with the Major shareholders (financiers) already, so our risks of failing are vastly minimised, exciting prospects don’t you think.

The banks must be quietly collecting gold if they know it’s a question of “when” not “if” the rules apply, and it’s in their interest for gold to run to a higher ounce value when they have their 1 to 1 allocation fully in hand, the rush to meet 2022 deadline should put pressure on the prices of physical gold, with higher demand raising prices as a matter of course, with high inflation looming and a highly likely weakening dollar and a high physical gold demand, it’s a bullish outlook for the POG.

The software seems really clunky at the moment, comments don’t show, trades don’t show or are delayed by days, I’m not sure it’s anything but glitches with lse, the spread is often manipulated to make buys look like sells, but that’s the market maker trying to get buyers and sellers to make a move, a sea of red transactions may trigger investors to sell out when it’s actually buying that’s taking place, the market makers try to make a market as they only make an income from the spread when we do exchange our holdings.
Gold seems to have bottomed for now, and holding at $1700 will slow us another bumper quarter, Q1 estimates welcome, my prediction is 21k ounces at $1790 average and $37.5 million income, anyone else have an opinion?

2 and a half years ago when Gold was $1200 dollars, MTLs old management were losing $7 million a quarter, producing only 11k ounce gold quarters, and the share price was reflected by dropping to 1.9p, all time lows, 2 and a half years later Gold is $1700 dollars, MTLs new management are profiting $14 million a quarter, producing 20k ounce gold quarters and the share price is 1.6p, what’s not to like, we should be 3 to 5p but we aren’t, who cares? as long as you know the real value here, your buying shares at heavily discounted prices, so let’s take advantage.

Roy has took some profit and has given others the chance to take some really cheap shares, remember Roy’s average at around 1p before selling has offered him around £60k profit even at these prices, so at his mature age, no offence, why not? good luck and enjoy the money, you can’t take a penny with you when your gone, I’m 20 years younger and I’m semi retired, so waiting for the bigger gains is not an issue, and by bigger gains, I mean the debt free dividend paying MTL, the AAZ story line, Roy’s 6 million shares leave him the fairy tale ending too, and there are dozens who remain quiet week to week that have the same goal, make no mistakes here, Gold at $1500 to $2000 is a great place for MTL, it’s a place that we didn’t dream of 2 years ago, and our business model was based on $1000 dollar gold, Gold miners are having the time of their lives at these levels, including us, in 1 months time we will be chirping happily about our continued debt reduction, at a level no one thought possible 18 months back, don’t feel trapped, feel fortunate that your in so cheap, take Roy’s generous offerings and hold em tight, because they will prove to be the best investment ever.

I reckon Roy has put an order to sell at 1.57p, so lets see how cheap they offer them to us boys, 1.6p will see the Buys flying in, must say I'm temted to have a few more, thanks for the heads up Roy.

Patience is the illusive attribute for most, for example, how many investors cash out at doubling or tripling? the majority, because you always feel the need to lock-in profits, but imagine early Amazon investors who did that, kicking them selves as the train steamed on, as long as the fundamentals are still positive, the reason to sell makes less sense, but holding a super fundamentals share where the whole market is diving, also makes no sense, so I try not to get attached too much, I don’t use stop losses, it’s too easy to get sold out on white noise, rapid market movements to the down are certainly manipulated to take your shares cheaply, and I’ve seen a share drop 10% just before great news is released and many were spooked off just before the push higher.
Looking at Gold, look at the start of Covid, Gold initially plummeted when you expected it to rise as the pandemic news scared the markets, but the bullish fundamentals were intact and gold pushed those temporary lows to the highest highs ever, at $1700 now, Gold is taking a breath, because the fundamentals are still good medium term for gold, inflation is coming, no doubt, good for gold, and the huge global debt levels taken on in the last 12 months will force interest rates to remain reasonably low, they can’t raise rates to slow inflation as seen in the early 90s as a weapon to cull the inflation, because the cost of these new debts would be disastrous, so inflation will run hot, so I’m confident on Golds medium term prospects as in $1900 dollar plus, the short term is already here at $1600 to $1700, so this period is a hold or add, it’s not time to sell gold stocks, I’m heavy in MTL and a relatively small portion in POLY, reason being MTL is more like an early Amazon, huge upside and patience is required, I have doubled my investment in 4 years but I’m still adding, because my long term goals are much bigger, but POLY is a great Dividend play, and I’m interested to see how that pans out for me over a 5 year term, plus POLY being a Silver play as well, which has even better fundamentals than Gold at the moment, can only play well here.

My advice is stop reading, that’s one way to lose money, the advice is always 2 sided, one will tell you Gold is set to hit $2000 and another crash to $1400, no body actually knows, if they did, they would be filthy rich and they wouldn’t be taking the time to tell us minions, they all have an agenda, they all have placed bets one way or the other, and they want to get you either buying or spook you to sell, it’s white noise, stick to your original plan.

The governments are hiding inflation, the debts are so large they are terrified of having to raise interest rates, so they play down inflation and yet we know it’s coming, the cost of goods, raw materials, oil, etc etc is rising and that filters through to us all, so the upside for gold this year is coming, I think we will trade between $1650 and $1700 for a little while as the Covid exit is giving other stocks impetuous, then rise as inflation becomes too much to hide any longer, back to over $1900 later in the year, as for MTL, we have both efficiency and increased throughout yet to peak, as it’s improving with each quarter, it will make up for the lower average this quarter, at the moment it’s averaging about $1825 since the 1st Jan 2021, if we remain around $1700 dollars, we will average $1790 over Q1, so I predict similar spare cash generation this quarter as the weather is better and our efficiency measures keep improving.
MTLs current market cap is lower than 1 years predicted gold profits, how can that be right? POLY is a Gold/Silver miner of which I’m recently invested in, they are trading with a market cap of 7 to 8 x profits, paying a 6.4% dividend, which is fine, a nice place to park your cash and receive a decent income, but it makes you realise how crazy MTLs current share price is, we cannot fail, we have zero default risk and we are generating enough cash to get us to a debt free dividend paying company in just 2.5 years, that’s not long in a mining investment, keep your faith, don’t be giving away your shares, they are worth so much more than the market thinks.

Jim, my only experience is with *************, of which I feel are a little crooked at times, they have always called MTL wrongly, but also a lot of other shares, they pump the life out of dogs like RRR and it’s rumoured they are good friends of the CEO at RRR, AEX was a recent huge error, it’s halved since they ramped it a month ago, so paying for advice isn’t always worth it, IMHO
