I took that information of the 5km road already in construction, of a quality to accept haulage trucks as a very telling signal, would you as a CEO release that information if your not sure the Dupax reserves are a go, Darren would look a little foolish wasting money, I think he knows it’s economical and worth starting, he just won’t know if it’s a couple of years or decades, but I think he knows it’s definitely happening from existing surveys, with grades as high as mentioned, even 2 years is worth taking with costs to process only costing $30 million for the alterations to the plant at Runruno.

Dunston, Darren is working all his numbers on a $2500 gold price, so he working on $1400 dollar FCF per ounce, but I’m working on $3800 gold or $2700 FCF, nearly double the margins of Darren’s, hence my $1 billon per annum FCF and Darren’s $1/2 billion per annum FCF, Darren’s playing it really safely with his future gold pricing, but I see gold only going higher, not lower.

The 145k ounces from memory was based on 1.4m tonnes through put of the La India processing plant, but he said it could be upgraded to handle 1.8m tonnes and so I worked that to be 185k ounces gold production.

I have used this statement a number of times, I fully believe the £1 mark is not only obtainable, I feel it will end up being conservative, why do I believe this?

La India is coming, 100% nailed on, and its design is to make 145k ounces per year, although Darren has already said it can be improved and modified to increase output further, to around 185k ounces, the gold is in the ground and the mine improvements are mechanics, improved engineering, not rocket science, so I fully expect that 185k ounces by 2027 to 2028.

Dupax reserves are the catalyst that is required to send us to the next level, Darren already knows the grades are high, he just needs confirmation they are as large as he suspects, hence why he’s already stated 3 times current output of Runruno is possible, (3 x 70k) 210k ounce per annum.

Put those together and you have circa 350k to 400k ounces per annum at $2700 profit per ounce at current gold pricing…..$940 million to $1080 million FCF per annum.

£1 a share price is only around 4 x annual FCF.

Q4 2026 not Q4 2024, doh.

We now have 6 weeks reserves longer than his last estimate because we held off production for those 6 weeks with the cyanide contamination, so end of Q4 2026 was the estimate to cease production before that, as such we will definitely be entering Q1 2027 before ceasing because of this, I imagine a double bubble production period in some ways for 2 quarters, maybe 3 quarters if La India starts the testing and ramping production phase in 2026 Q3 before full speed production in Q4 2024.

I think it’s a signal between market makers to let each other know orders have been made at a certain price, it’s clear from todays movement we have an order in at 14p, other small numbers maybe the the value of the order, basically it’s a coded message between them.

8100 tonnes…..not 8100 ounces as previously posted

The 8100 ounces in the USA may be there but it doesn’t mean the USA own it, it can be part owned by big banks, wealthy individuals, and foreign owners, hence why it has to be audited in public view, something Trump said he would do, it needs to be quality proven and weighed, then sorted to who owns what.

It’s so complicated it’s never going to happen, hence why it’s all gone quiet and not mentioned by Trump for months.

China is highly likely to hold multiples of what they have bought from public view, because they don’t sell what they mine, so no one knows the actual quantity held.

The dollar is losing its reserve status bit by bit, FIAT is losing value as it’s printed, and gold and silver reflects that bit by bit, it’s not gold bug theories, it’s physically happening in plain view, it’s fact and each dollar rise is proof.

It’s great to see his promises made 6 months back being met in real time, I also love the excitement he had about gold at $2800 and the amount of cash that would generate, bet he didn’t envisage $3800? Imagine that video if it was made now? He would be grinning from ear to ear with dollars for eyes 🤑

13p has become the new floor, the consolidation has been healthy, although I feel now we are a coiled spring, I see La India’s build being 60% finished by year end and that alone will have us a much higher shareprice, positive Dupax drill results will get us the 20p plus mark for Xmas, perfectly acceptable target IMHO

Could be Mrs Evans, the billionaire has accumulated 600 million shares over the last year or two, would it be logical she would like an even footing to Nick Candy? He’s got 650 million shares, million by million taken by the savvy patient from the impatient.

Dupax news will ignite this shareprice, if it’s a go project, it’s bigger news than La India, bigger annual numbers and much cheaper and quicker to bring to fruition.

The numbers are nice and simple, but, massively underestimating the next few years, Darren said we can improve the output at La India with some additional modifications to the plant, so 185k ounces is more likely to become standard outputs at La India.

Dupax with scale is a much higher grade resource than Runruno, and Darren has stated 2 to 3 times the existing output, using Dupax reserves, at the time we had produced 84000 ounces, so he’s thinking 160 to 250k ounces from Runruno, if, the scale isn’t big enough at Dupax, he’s already said he will move the plant to another site, Dupax is low hanging fruit, but Runrunos plant will be repurposed elsewhere if Dupax lets us down.

I don’t think it will, because Darren knows the site well, he’s building a 5km road already, and he knows it’s a strike length of 9km already.

I’m thinking 350k ounces per annum is more realistic in the next few years, so you can multiply your numbers by two to three.

Pennies to pounds is coming for the patient IMHO

Ron sold a load at the 2p range, he was holding 6m MTL at the time, he tried trading, I remember his “dips and spikes” slogan, but he got caught out selling a spike that wasn’t a spike, he’s not posted for years, so I doubt he holds any now.

It’s just a precaution, as I won’t be trading I don’t need £1m pound of shares residing in IG trading who are a financial institution and as such can fail, I don’t trust them enough to not lose my shares in a financial failure, the share certificate means MTL know I hold shares with them, I don’t know how it stands if a broker goes bust.

Thank you for the reply Faz66666, I know what you mean about the big 60, I’m 58 so it crosses my mind, but I see MTL as my mega pension pot, the dividend stream on your 3.1 million shares will be huge, I see 50p a share for MTL around 2027/28 and a 5p annual dividend is not out of the question, even 4p (8%) on 3.1 million is £124k income, whilst still holding your golden goose, this gold bull run is charted to run for a minimum 5 to 10 years, hence my 5 year minimum plan and £1 a share target is where I may sell part of my holding, but that’s all dependent on how much growth MTL have ahead, the Abra tenament will be in view by then, and that’s massive.

Cracking deal CuckoldKing, double your money in 12 months nailed on in my opinion, if you don’t mind me asking, what’s that take your MTL holdings to? Have you thought about share certification?

The shareprice movement offering better value for those looking to add is a blessing, MTL are in full motion and at record high gold pricing, share price movement doesn’t effect that, I have taken advantage of this value offering, but, now I’m locking my shares away, I am in the process of getting them put onto a share certificate, removing third party risk with share brokers.

I have a 5 year minimum plan to hold, so have no interest in trading, I believe we will be in the £1 range by then.

Has anyone else felt the need to lock your shares away? If so it would be good to get your thoughts.

I think Darren will stick to the plan, La India and Dupax/Runruno (Assuming it has scale) is a 300k to 350k ounce annual producing set, and would leave us debt free, spinning cash that can be reinvested later and start paying dividends, which he promised, more debt to buy assets now slows all that down in my mind, dividends is a must to grow the shareprice, it attracts much bigger investors.
