Could the mining experts on here just clear up one aspect that arose from the Sandeep Biswas presentation last week at the TSX Australia Investor Mining Day. He said: "We hope to release an initial inferred resource in the coming months".

I know there was a lot of discussion on here regarding what the "coming months" part meant. But my question is: Is an "initial inferred resource" EXACTLY the same as the "MRE" (which previously had been spoken about by GH and SB as end of December).

DORE123 - Newcrest investors will already know what to expect from JV with GGP. It has been flagged up prominently for at least the last half dozen drill results and SB interviews. With Telfer reserves starting to run low Newcrest need GGP just as much as we need them.

08.04 djfwatty - radio silence is quite plausible given the JV agreement: "During the Farm-In period, Newcrest will have a first right of refusal over the remainder of Greatland Gold's Paterson projects (Black Hills, Paterson Range East and remainder of the Havieron licence)".

CTC - so we may get an announcement to say drilling results are delayed because of lab hold ups. That would be good communication - probably better than saying nothing and leaving investors guessing

POG shows a nice upward trend over the last year, up around 30%. There was a slight dip a month ago but recent events have put the price right back on track. Although past performance should not be taken as a guide to where it will be in the future certainly, from the graph at least, things look optimistic. It could not have come at a better time for GGP as we head towards another momentous 12 months. GLA

007 - absolutely agree with reporting of any bad news on Scally - there is none. They would not be able to hold back, so this RNS nicely prepares the ground for Scally news "soon" as GH mentioned the other day in the proactive investors interview
