Just in case people are spooked by comments by bagpu55 in the event that Hav is uneconomical to mine let me just say that the current market value of 4.2m ounces, itself a lowball start, is in excess of $7.5 billion. There is therefore no way Havieron will be uneconomic to mine. POG would need to be below the AISC before this scenario would arise. So let's squash that scenario.

5 trading days to drill results. They will be out next Wednesday around 11.30pm and will include a commentary from SB on the Juri Jv as well as the 6/7 week Havieron drilling update.

Albitization is a common process during which hydrothermal fluids convert plagioclase and/or K-feldspar into nearly pure albite. So it's nothing to do with having an alibi.

10.19 SpadesASpade - just checked the December options RNS re Shaun on appintment. His options have a 3 year vesting period and are excerciseable until 2026.

Bamps as always thsnk you. And this is what the market has lost sight of in the mining sector as a whole over the last 6 months in the rush to sell off mineral stocks. GGP has just been lumped in with the rest of the sector.

What a mistake. Using your figures to complete the analysis would give earnings per share for GGP of some 2.5p just for this part of the business.

Even on a modest PE of 15 that takes us well into the mid 30p range.

As I say GGP is not just another mining share.

Re: Newcrest result announcement, Sydney market opens at 10am local (1am UK). Pre-opening is from 7-10am Sydney time (10pm Wednesday -1 am Thursday UK). At the 6 weekly drilling updates I normally get an email from Newcrest at around 11.30pm Wednesday UK time so it's reasonable to expect Newcrest results at around the same sort of time ie 11.30pm tomorrow evening.

Overnight and overseas trades may be reported until 9:45 am, Sydney time. These trades must take place according to ASX Operating Rules.

Mr Bronson- instead of asking questions here why not email GGP with your concerns. It seems you want to be spoon fed or blame others. You might find the exercise quite therapeutic. Get a grip and taking control is a very good policy particularly as you will certainly get a reply.

Hi TMT - been here over 3 years though we haven't met. That is a pity as I'm sure we would have had much to discuss. It just remains for me to say thank you for your many inciteful comments - the BB will be the poorer for your leaving. Note the words - "leading development and exploration company".

Building blocks gradually being put in place. This appointment will also give rise to greater communication with shareholders on mining development at Havieron and elsewhere on their tenements. No longer a slave to 6 weekly Newcrest updates. Needless to say I like this appointment.

chester18 - the next drilling update from Newcrest for Havieron is expected to be 9 September (10 September last year), so around 11.30pm on the 8th here in the UK.

The annual updates from Newcrest to which you refer (19 August) tend not to be very informative re Havieron except to enthuse glowingly about the prospects. It is after all a situation report for the period ended 30 June.

Assay results timeline has been very flexible - delays continue, so all a bit finger in the air so I certainly wouldn't want to tie SD down to a specific date.

Just trying to be realistic on timeframes - patience is key.
