Can someone pls explain to me why when a share gets a decent RNS with encouraging results it can have the reverse affect on the sp ?

So many iv seen since starting out this has happened to , eg TYM today by all accounts have had encouraging news yet it sits at a 5% loss so far, prophit takers i get but none seem to hold up ! I know some may read this and think well thats just AIM or wtf is this clown onabout but i genuinely would like to hear what you guys on here can come back with, i saw it happen with GGP not so long back aswell, granted thats obvs had its fair share of UPS .. Rock is another, 60% last decent RNS coupld of months back when Troaj advised me to sell into it , gladly i did, thats another thats bleeding away !

I guess what im asking is whats it gunna take here for us to mantain a reapectable sp !! How i see it with great results nxt RNS will give us 20/30% then stop and drop , so unless your trading it there seems to be no long term benefit , oh i duno its a bit of a head f..k at times!

I think a few that were initally here shouting from the rooftops have also moved on since the IAMGOLD saga, not pointing that at you by the way Loch.. Oh well lets see what Bibemi brings , my worry is even with decent results its gotta go some to get me back to the price im in at .. I feel its a long long hold here before we see any real movement , only my take on things

Yea iv been assured by other posters they are 100% certain shares will be ok , only issue being is if Copl dont relist which they will .. Hope that helps

Good to hear from you, dissapointed you have pulled the plug here , im thinking im goin to ride it out a little longer , hopefully some decent drill results can get us moving north , now the IAMGOLD issue seems to be resloved would you not condider jumping back in ?

I am very wary of any mining shares that are focused on African operations. Historically these have been fraught with obstacles both physical and political. In many cases I feel the aim listed "miners" are purely speculative bs verging on scams. This comes from hard experience. I lost £22k on them a decade ago and have steered clear since. Just my view though and others may have benefited greatly from some of the big SP rises.

Only saving grace Bruce if you look at all minning stocks its a stinker of a day all over
