Throw my tuppence in here. We assume the market is more enlightened than we are. They always get their targets right. After all they know what deals are being done and who is talking to who. They thrive on fear and the uncertain they create I would wager a good sum that if you could ask any of the analysts what value SCLP should be given successful trials they just wouldn't know. If you ask my gardener to put a value on a blockbuster cancer drug that is not toxic then I would guess in his reply would be billions. The experts don't know, plain and simple. I have been invested in bios that have released transformational news but takes days for it be digested. The analysts are good for companies that drop a petrol pump on a well or working out a COS but science is a little more complicated than that. Remember the MC here is not about the value of that science. It is how that science can become commercial. That valuation could change in a heartbeat in a unforseen RNS. You guys know that otherwise you would not waste your time posting your views. Keep the faith or walk away..

Usually a lull at lunch but pattern different today. Only to be expected given the holdings RNS and falling number of free float shares. Getting more difficult for traders now so don't expect the pullbacks to be as severe when we close above 100p. You never know, we may get another holdings update tomorrow which would be nice. Colby I wish I knew the answer. I am invested in a company that was trading at 15 last month but now institutional investors are struggling to buy at 80. The do called clever guys get it wrong sometimes. I have been investing for many years buying EB at .2 and selling at 130 ( game) Only to buy HMV at 50 and selling at 15 before admin. The only advice I have been given in this sector which has give me a return on my investment is this. If you have to queue at a till and the shop looks modern and maintained then the business is thriving. I doubt we are too far away from the bottom here I always struggle to sell at the top. Thanks DC. I enjoy reading other members thoughts and rationale. At the moment ( not ramping and please don't buy or gamble on momentum) I hold HVO, my average is 19. I research4d for many months after I took profits from another bio. All of this is not relevant to BT. However , I think there is a shift from risk in the wider market and a need to go neutral. All the negative sentiment is exposed with this company but they will plod on. Maybe a bit simplistic but they will deliver even though it never quite meets the 'msrkets" expectations. All negative comments are constructive but we are not trading at 400p a share.

How do you come to that conclusion? It may retrace. It may end up flat. It may end up rising.like my co.ment it will be nothing more than binary numbers tomorrow. Grumpy Relatively new to investing in PETS. I do have a background in animal and equine care so can see the benefits of the vet side of the business. Confidence will grow as relationships with their client builds. It does take time. IMO the only negative side of the business the so called analysts see are wage costs. However, this is a retailer that does require trained staff that will not work for the same pay as a checkout employee at a supermarket. Their margins cover that cost but the market just doesn't get it. That will change.

Mark the spread was above 10% throughout April and May. Even at 15p. That is completely insignificant now. Buyers have been put off with the spread for months. I wonder why?
