We were all going to be millionaires with lW1 then with lW2 then with Winx and now with the FO now l firmly believe the FO will come to fruition but l think it will be more of a long term bread and butter because as many have said we have billions of barrels of oil but so far nobody has yet seen one drop of the black stuff it's all in 3D. On the positive side the bread and butter will keep us alive and allow DW to continue with further projects like yukon. But who knows the optimists may win the day and the price will rocket.

LeMajor The MMs set the spread but it has to be realistic to the companies value for instance they could not sell shares at 2-3 pence because nobody would buy and everyone would sell. The same with 0.3 to 0.5p everyone would buy
The other factors you state are valid but only within a given range and if the correction is to low or to high it will get back within the trading range eventually.. As you say there is money to be made within the trading range and even more if you manipulate and widen that trading range

Its their Job to trade in shares and what ever position the shares are in at the time, they normally trade within a given boundary or range e,g 88 is currently around the 0.75-0.8p mark and we have been trading around the 0.7 to 0.9 range the range or band is driven by sentiment with a little help from MMs
We will stay at that level forever unless somthing happens to put us on a different level
1) Over Enthusiasm (Buying Frenzy) on rumour
2) Panic Fear (Selling ) on Rumour
3) Farm out Possible re-rate upeards
4) No Farm out definate re-rate downwards
5) Other Positive/Negative RNS up/down etc
So in essence MMs have some influence but not as much as people here would have you believe

I felt the last RNS was an "Almost There" RNS which meant the price went up for a day and now its coming back down
But volume is so small it seems everyone is waiting for definative result and thats fair enough I upped my holding to 4 Million because im fairly sure he will come up with the goods, but others here have a different view and thats ok to

One thing we know for sure DW has made sure for his personal position that all his chickens come home to roost at 3p. I've now lowered my average considerably with recent buys so l will now be in profit with 3p not to much but enough to top slice

The General consensus of opinion here is that Dave will have got us a good deal on the FO. As that last RNS basically said all is well expecting and hope to have farm out completed soon... Of course they have to say it may not come off... But under the circumstances why is the price not rising now on a grand scale?

We have no way of knowing how well DW is negotiating this, if he's not got a good deal we may only rise to 1p or 1.5p but l suppose eve. That is good Compared to 0.8

If we get a FO deal the share price will rise and depending on the deal which will involve cash in the long term.
Under those circumstances it should be a lot easier to raise cash at a reasoable rate, If we are looking for cash with no farm out well thats a very grim tale indeed

I was pleased with the RNS informing us that the FO is reaching the end game. Im confident that a successful signature of the contract will increase the share price thus ive topped up this morning with 750,000 and 237,986 My wife and I now own 4 Million of these shares all in ISAs. Lets see what happens

Process largely complete are the important words here. The fact that it may not come to pass is a possibility DW has to make us aware of by law. But l would say the RNS is now showing a very clear and confident positive edge in my opinion

For the impatient and the needy please do not be surprised if FO goes to Q3

I think it's important to be patient we are all invested here because we believe 88 will come good in the end 88 has always been a 50/50 share DW has never denied this. At the moment we are on a knife edge. A farm out will give 88 Stability and hopefully a decent share price. If the FO fails we are left with looking for another suitor and yukon but we will be desperately short on funds a fund raiser at 0.3p and 12 billion shares will be our only possible option before going into liquidation. But let's stay positive its still game on

0.7p If we go much lower selling will only be good for a box of doughnuts

As far as I am aware Ramping is trying to push up the price of a share with incorrect or partially correct information as they say in the House of Commons" Being Ecconomical with the truth"

Discussing the" farm out" and past "FACTS"at UKOG as an analogy is hardly ramping its talking about 88 and around the subject, after all when I last looked this was a discussion forum for 88 Energy

We could even get buying fever and end up with an 11p spike like UKOG before falling just as quickly

If its a good deal for 88 why not 3p its certainly the Figure DW fills his boots and most of us either break even or get a slight whiff of a profit
